We came here on our first night in town without a reservation and were lucky to get a table at 7pm , we had a drink at the bar first and the atmosphere was electric with business men and women really enjoying themselves after work , there was real buzz to the place . The barman was brilliant, giving us a taste of various wine before we chose a couple of bottles and they loved striking up a conversation with someone out of town. The restaurant also had a lively atmosphere, the only thing that let it down a little was the poor service from our waitress hence the 4* rating . The food was excellent , the oysters were superb and we shared a 100 day aged ribeye which cooked perfectly and plenty for us 2 , the accompanying sides were also excellent. We had Pinot Gris with the oysters and a lovely bottle of Rioja with the ribeye . A really pleasant evening.
