Great location in a fabulous old building. Wanting to go out for a few drinks after work someone suggested going to the bar of Lenox hotel. Great choice! The staff were very nice and friendly and the drinks were averagely priced for this part of town. Definitely will go back next time I am in Boston,

We stayed in a room with 2 very comfortable queen beds, a bard fridge and sizeable bathroom. I booked this room more than a year out for 4th of July and asked for a room with a view of the fireworks. Before we had even checked in we had an email welcoming us to the hotel and advising us that they were hoping to fulfill our request. Well, the Lenox Hotel did not disappoint! We had a beautiful welcome basket waiting in our room and it looked directly out the fireworks! Thank Lenox Hotel, you were the most perfect place to stay in beautiful Boston - close to the Prudential Building, subway, buses, beautiful shops and more. We hope we will one day come all the way back from Australia to see you. In the mean time, I will tell everyone what a beautiful hotel you are! The staff here are very professional, kind and helpful.

"You're always glad you came."

If the show "Cheers" would have been about a hotel, it would have been about the Lenox. The staff is amazing, the little extras (like lobby cookies and bananas), and there is a little less guilt in everything you do there, because Lenox is one of the most environmentally responsible hotels I've ever stayed in.

The sustainability program is not in your face, like some of the larger corporate guilt messages that must have received training in my Catholic mother. No, this is casually easy, and comfortable. From the paper water cartons, to the non-bottled shampoo and soap dispensaries, it is hidden in plain site, without taking away any of the luxuries. You simply become a better person by staying and learning from the Lenox.

The food is quite diverse, from City Table, where I fell in love with their bouillabaisse, to Solas Irish Pub, where I'm addicted to their curry fries (served in true UK style..... delish). Something for everyone. And don't forget City Bar in the lobby, where they have some of the best martinis in the city. For your chocolate addiction, or even last minute gifts (and therefore my go-to), Lindt has a huge store at the corner of the building.

Best of all, you get all this while also being situation in the absolute best of everything. You're in the middle of the Back Bay, but just a few blocks from the South End, and a block away from the T station, which is only 3-5 stops from all the action. On the hottest or coldest of days, you're just a few steps away from all the comforts you need for food, coffee, clothing, or that sweet homeless guy that sings "Does anyone have any change" in perfect pitch for the last 15 years outside Delucca's on Newbury Street.

Oh, and if you ever need either the best gym workout or dating advice, simply ask for Pete at the front door. He's one of a kind, and sets the tone for everything that is Lenox.

I'll always be back.

Room Tip: If you're able to find a lower occupancy day, where the price is reasonable, I'll strongly suggest you splurge on the Penthouse

This hotel is absolutely amazing, the service is incredible - the staff are really wonderful. The room was beautiful, we had complimentary boxes of water every day, and a turn-down service. Thanks so much!

Probably the best hotel we have stayed in around the world.
Location is perfect to see Boston.
Room had it all, the most comfortable bed and pillows. Being in a junior suite gave our family extra seating to relax and recover without having to lie on the beds. Bathroom was small but had everything you could need.
Unlimited coffee and tea available free each morning on the ground floor opposite lifts. In the afternoons this changed to lemonade.
Each night at turn down you were left either a chocolate or toffee.
