We had a wonderful stay here. I was concerned about construction noise from prior reviews so I asked the hotel for a quiet room and was assigned a room on the top floor facing into the inner courtyard. The window was small and there wasn’t a view of anything, but we didn’t care - we were only there to sleep, and we slept great. Didn’t hear a peep of noise. Huge thanks to the front desk manager and staff for a comfortable, quiet stay. The hotel was clean and the staff and valet attendants very helpful and friendly. The location was great too. T across the street and walkable to nearly everything. We walked to Fenway, MIT campus, Boston Commons, Freedom Trail, USS Constitution. (Some of these walks were long, but Boston is a very walkable city and we wanted to see it). I wish this was still a HI Express, as we missed the microwave and the quick continental breakfast, but we’d still stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

I recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo while in town for a college reunion - it was still a Holiday Inn Express when I made my reservation, then changed over in the following months. In general we found it to be convenient, clean and the service friendly.

PROs:
-located close to various T stops
-clean, updated rooms
-great restaurant on-site
-short walking distance to the amazing Boston Public Market (local food market) and landmarks like Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market

CONs:
-right on top of TDGarden -- if there's a Bruins game on, it will be noisy on the street
-in some ways feels like the hotel is still transitioning into its new incarnation -- e.g.,it took 20 min to check us in, our keys didn't work the first three times we tried
-to the above point, it seems like the hotel is still figuring out staffing. During the day, there were always 2 people at the front desk who were ready and willing to help. Late at night, when I asked if an extra blanket could be delivered to our room, the one person at front desk sounded exasperated, said he couldn't leave his post and basically....just hung up on me.

Room tip: We were helpfully yet oddly advised not to choose a room on the top floor because "it gets hot"

Just checked in and extremely disappointed - and scared! Elevator just filthy and received a room that is most definitely a fire trap. I can’t believe this place has been approved by the City of Boston Fire Department. Two windows that you would need to be 8 feet tall to open. And I am not even sure they open and if they do, what is on the other side. Supposedly no other rooms available for the one night I am here. Will definitely NEVER return - if I survive the one night I am here. STAY AWAY.

CND26,

Guest safety peaks the list of our priority, and I'm sorry to hear you felt otherwise because of the issues you had with your room. What you described here is definitely not what we want for you. To properly attend to this matter, I deemed it necessary to inform the hotel of your experience. I trust their capacity of taking proper steps to ensure everyone gets a smooth sailing stay. I have also sent you a private message to gather more details about your visit.

We promise a better experience next time, so I hope you give us another try. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us!

Came into town for the Celtics playoff game and found that I had picked a great location for our stay. Just a short walk to the entrance to TD Gardens and train station. Very clean property with friendly and helpful staff. Property appears to be newly renovated with new furnishings and beds. Will stay here again when we visit Boston for another game.

Room tip: Some rooms have small windows , ask for a street view for a better view

Recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Boston and had a great experience with the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As for the hotel it seems a little shady walking up to it but inside it is updated and very nice. The room I stayed in was a good size. And the noise level was low. The location is great if going to TD Garden or getting on the subway to Fenway. Also, a short walk to everything downtown. I will definitely stay here again when coming back to Boston.
