A great hotel within walking distance of everything. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful at check in and check out. The staff was also knowledgeable of the area and gave great recommendations for restaurants and places to go!

Dear sdcunningham2,

As you have noted, our hotel sits right in the center of it all in the Back Bay and provides the ultimate convenience for a little local adventure. Our entire team loved having the opportunity to host you as well and we are elated that our recommendations so greatly enhanced your stay. It would be a pleasure to host you again and we hope to have the opportunity to do so in the months ahead.

The hotel is situated in a very very nice and quiet area. Close to shops, restaurants, train and in walking distance to many good places in The Back Bay. It is easy to walk around from the hotel to the famous Trinity Church and The old Library.

Room Tip: One bootle of water for free in the room, would be nice to have every day. When there is no refrigerator !!!!

My wife and I went to Boston for 3 days (1st time in Boston) and stayed here. The staff was very friendly. I watched as a clerk dealt with an issue and I thought she did great. Central reservations made a mistake and the customer was taking it out on the poor girl. She tried to make everything right and was professional.

Older hotel but that was a good thing. Everything was clean and they have definitely modernized it. It felt much more comfortable than a large chain hotel.

It is centrally located. We walked to Fenway 2x and to Charlestown (probably would take a subway if we had that to do over) and the hotel is close to a subway entrance. Lots of places to eat in the area and lots of shopping (right next to two malls and street shopping on Newbury and Boylston Streets.

Only down sides...would like to see a mini fridge (room in the cabinet they have); no one was at the front desk when we went to check out at 6am and we had to leave to catch our flight; lots of homeless in the area and some of them are aggressive. Large congregation next door at public library and no police presence. Not the hotels fault, just know that you will be hassled when you walk past the library and trinity church next door. The hotel might want to complain to Boston PD to get them to at least address the drunk and aggressive ones.

We will go back to Fenway and would definitely consider staying here again.

Average stay. Room and location were fabulous. Customer service was not. This staff did not make me seem welcome at all. We weren't at the hotel often; however, all interactions felt rushed and brushed off. By the way, there is in-room dining. You can get the menu from downstairs (defeats the purpose I know). I was directed to Google or go on websites for suggestions or directions visiting the city. EXTREMELY disappointed in the front desk staff's customer service.

Room Tip: Premier King Room is excellent. Great views of the city and plenty of space. Bathroom is small, but it is completely workable.
