We enjoyed our stay in this nicely decorated apartment. The location is conveniently located - Asheville's restaurants, shops and arts district are located 5-10 miles away. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and is located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.
Rita was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and provided a lot of printed information The apartment was clean and quiet ( the rooster didn't bother us at all). Once we got the lay of the land it was very easy to get around. Biltmore and downtown Asheville were easily accessed.
We really loved Rita and her place. The location was central to all of our activities; especially the Biltmore. Our most outstanding meal came from Curate. You really can't find a better eatery- there is something there for everyone; Tapas and food from around the world!! We truly had a very positive experience.
Apartment is a little drive from downtown, so you would definitely need a car to visit Asheville. It was perfect for us as a family because it had multiple bedrooms and a great little kitchen that was well-appointed. Apartment was very clean, light, and host was very friendly. Only downside was we did not actually sleep that well....next door neighbor's have a rooster that starts crowing at the crack of dawn. Also, the lock was installed upside down on the door, so husband thought he was locking it and actually unlocked it, allowing a cat to push the door open in the middle of the night (cat is the owners and obviously spends a lot of time in apartment) and jump on our 8 year old at 4am, startling him and causing hysterics.
This property will be familiar and comfortable to most. The overall style of the apartment lacks a bit of cohesion, but all the expected standards are there. Rita is both warm and helpful, which gave me sincere comfort.
Having access to the Roku TV service is good, although also subscribing to Sling might help visitors access a few more"regular" channels; such as current weather info (for whatever reason, many of the local, TV antenna channels would only work in the later hours of the day). The YouTube channel provided some news videos, although not updated on a daily basis.
It's a fine place and seems to receive ongoing updates; a great place to stay when visiting Asheville. It'd be my sincere pleasure to do so, again.
