The hotel is the only one on this side of island. All hotels, restaurants and shopping are 20 to 30 minutes dive away. On the map it's on the edge of a small town but it's really just a scattering of modest houses on dirt roads. So there's nothing here but the golf course, which looks quite challenging. But if you want to just relax by the pool and read a book it's just great. After all, the tourist crowds are only a short drive away and you really need a car to stay here anyway even if you do arrive by their airport shuttle. The hotel is fairly new and an odd mix of tropical (wooden furniture) and post modern Scandinavian (stark white with lime green, yellow and orange). Our room was very large with a huge bed, small kitchen area (no microwave) and good sized bath with all the amenities. The shower is wonderful and has a big window so you can look out over the ocean. There are 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis in a lush garden setting. Breakfast (included) is large with a choice of American or Chamorran. The staff is very attentive, even found us to let us know we had left the car lights on one evening. The only drawback is lack of wifi in he rooms although it is very strong in the lobby.
on the whole it was a great stay but it's not for those who want to be in the center of things.
