We decided to take a day to bring my 1 year old son swimming with his gifted floaty. First, we did brunch. I purchased packages for 1 adult and 2 kids. And decided to add regular buffet for 3 adults as they weren’t using the waterpark facility. They wanted to enjoy watching my son enjoy his time in the water. If we had known that you needed a wrist band nonetheless, we would’ve purchased the package. Hey are 2 different areas (which is confusing for other guests, and world resort AND wave jungle should provide options for guests who decide not to swim but be present to watch the bags or little kids). My mom was taking pictures of my son and I. Where she was approached by the lifeguard, about her missing band. Ofcourse she didn’t seem to comprehend what my mom (who is fluent in English) was saying. So I stepped in to talk and explain that we were band and she was just there to take pics and relax. Instead of politely explaining to us, a few minutes after we decided to move to our cabana. She comes with the security guard, which was already too aggressive. Why not approach us nicely? Instead of making it obviously a scene involving the security? Who just explained to us the one thing she could have explained earlier? Not only was it not respectful, but the way the guard had approached it was almost aggressive as though we weren’t paying guests. WHICH we were. BECAUSE instead of fighting about it. I paid for their entrance, which I didn’t mind. What I do mind is your approach to letting us know. Thank you to Donna M. For explaining and apologizing for the 2. Hopefully it can be handled properly next time they come across a situation similar to ours. The buffet was also decent. Especially for hotel and waterpark guests.
So please have your bands visible. As the lifeguards and security will take it to account your one of the individuals who sneak from the back. Instead of approaching it lightly, they might just approach you aggressively.
