Review of Kanoa Resort Saipan

The resort has convenient location at the beach with all facilities nearby. Breathtaking view from the top floor gives you sights over the shore and surroundings. Swimming pool area by the beach offers 2 water slides and rental stall providing beach towels, diving equipment, canoes with accessories (all included). Canoe ride to wrecked tanks near the shore is strongly recommended :-) Night dinner show with local performers was amazing as well as breakfast buffet providing wide range of Asian and international dishes. All staff members are extremely friendly and helpfull making your stay so much more enjoyable.

Early this summer, I decided to visit the Barefoot Beach Bar at the Kanoa Resort Saipan, after one of my friends raved to me about her happy hour experience there with her lady friends.
Naturally, I had to invite my lady friends out and we had an even better time than my friend had described! We have been back there 3 times this summer since our 1st time. Here's why:
The Happy Hour - Not only was the Friday Happy Hour long enough for us to catch up with one another (from 5pm-10pm) and very affordable (1/2 price on listed drinks and chasers), but the staff's service was prompt and excellent, and thinking about the high quality of the fresh sashimi/poke, and the pork-belly dish that was grilled before our eyes, is making my mouth water as I am writing this.
More Great, Stand-Out Things
* The sunset the past few times we went was picture-perfect!
* I love live music/entertainment, and there was a live band, and local, Micronesian/Polynesian dance show!

I feel like a proud father when I read reviews like this. Our entire team has worked hard to be able to deliver the type of evening you and your friends experienced. Our chef loves his new menu (and it sounds like you did as well!). We are also working on some veggie options to round out the offerings. Kanoa is now THE place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. Right on the beach. Toes in the sand. Ice cold Asahi on tap and like you said..."picture perfect sunsets."
We hope that with Summer winding down you still get to make some time with your busy schedule to find your way back to Kanoa.

Just spent the day at Kanoa Resort with my family and had a blast. I live on Saipan, but wanted to “get away” for the day. Kids were raving about the pool, the slides, and their Taco Tuesday lunch (they are 3 & 5). Service was exceptional, staff was friendly, personable, and sincere not only to me and my family, but all guests. When we left my daughter said, “we should come here next week”. Thanks Kanoa for a great summer day on Saipan.

I had the best time at Kanoa Resort. First of all, all rooms have ocean view, and it is quite beautiful. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of parking space but somehow that never was a problem, as we could always find a spot despite the hotel being very crowded when we were there. It is not that conveniently located if you don't have a car, since it's a 10+ minute drive to the main area of restaurants and shops, but they do provide a bus to take guests on specific times. The thing I loved the most was the pool area - it had so many options, from slides to pool volleyball. The beach is located just in front of the hotel and there are such nice snorkeling areas around. My experience was made even better by the helpfulness and friendship of Gabriel, one of the lifeguards, who offered to take me on a kayak to one of the WWII tanks that lie close to the beach. That was the best part of my entire trip. I couldn't have had a better experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit this amazing island (especially if you have your own car!).

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. Gabriel has been with us more nearly two years and he takes so much pride in his work. He loves opportunities to show guests his "backyard" and I am so glad you had a chance to tour the tanks. Our beach is one of a kind here in Saipan with beautiful fish just off the white sandy beach. The ocean is beyond clear and warm which makes the experience even more special.
Here at Kanoa we take pride in investing into all of our staff through training and recognition. I am glad you found us of service during your stay.

So happy to hear you enjoyed both of your stays with us. The typhoon was not an easy time for the island but Kanoa Resort was happy and proud to be open during 100% of the recovery period. The trees are starting to bloom and the entire island is looking so much nicer than it did six months ago.
Our beachfront location is one of a kind with some amazing snorkeling right out in front of the resort. Next time, you should try our new stand-up paddle boards. They are easy and fun to use.
