Nice and Refreshing Hotel!

This is my first time to stay at this hotel. I usually stay in Garapan where most of the action-night life, shopping, restaurants and bars are located. This hotel is beach front, but is distant from the main scene, Garapan. However, I had found out that this hotel provides FREE shuttle to Garapan all day and ends at around 9pm at night. The check-in is 3:00 PM, so be prepared to occupy yourself for most of the day. The front desk staff was extremely nice and professional. The service was quick. I was checked into my room not over 5 minutes, which I was very impressed. The staff was continuously polite and helpful. There is free WIFI, which I had used throughout my stay. The WIFI was really fast with no drops. Unlike other hotels, I had no problems with the WIFI at all! The air-con, OMG! The air condition was awesome! It was very cold and comfortable at all times! There was hot running water, but the water pressure is very low, so add 10 more minutes in the shower schedule, lol! Now, I have stayed in all the hotels in Saipan, and this hotel is the only hotel that gives 4 large bottles of water for FREE! There is no coffee or tea amenities, which I thought was strange because they had provided 2 coffee cups. The lobby area had this openness where the ocean breeze went right through and was at a constant coolness. They have a beautiful outside café bar, where you can sit outside and have breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just sit at the bar and watch movies at day long. I spent all my meals at the café, because of the outside breeze and of course the VERY nice and professional staff! The prices of the meals were very reasonable and big portions! The hotel had a mini store, which is my favorite! It has almost anything you need, so you don’t need to leave the hotel grounds, and the ladies there are so helpful! One night, I had dosed off and woke up at 3:30 AM, I went downstairs to get a snack and drink, and to my surprise, the mini store was open! Nailed it! There is allot of parking, so no issue there. The security guards were always visible and walking around the grounds, so safety is established. There are many amenities at this hotel, gym, large pool, water slide, large walking grounds, poke slot machines, 5 minute to the beach from your room. Anyway, I highly recommend staying at this hotel! I know I am going to return soon!

The hotel staff was really professional and accommodating. Our first room had problems with the door lock so the hotel moved us to another floor. IslaTerrace is a good place for a low key meal. The Barefoot Beach BQQ and Bar was enjoyable. Check in time is at three so it was a little hard for us to enjoy our first day since we got their around 10:30 because of our flight. Thankfully we were able to keep our bags at the hotel so we could explore some of the island.

We had our holiday party at the Seaside Hall at this hotel. We were expecting at least 70 guests.

We ran into a bit of a bind when I was informed by F&B staff a week before our party that we weren't going to be able to decorate the place the morning of our party since there was a booking for a party in the Seaside Hall that would end at 2pm. I was furious about this because it meant having to rush our decorating before our party, which was set for 6pm! Glenn Policare, Manager for the hotel, was able to help resolve the situation by offering some hotel staff help to us set up. It really helped is out!

During our party, Elaine, Arthur, Joy and Froilan were attentive to our needs. Thank you, Kanoa Resort!

I stayed here 16 dec to 17 dec for one night
It was just ok nothing really special.
Advantage
Room is clean and big
Bed is soft and comfy

Disadvantage
I forgot to bring my iPhone charger
So i called front desk and asked them i can borrow iPhone charger they said no and they cant help to charge my cell phone. They recommend me to buy a cable at ishop which is located on 1st floor.
I tried to pay buy debit card but i had to buy extra things bc if i paid by cards it had to be minimum $10.
So i asked staff then can you charge to the room ?? she told me that i had to buy minimum $30 then i can charge to the room. I do understand minimum $10 pay by credit or debit cards but i really cannot understand i cant charge to the room. It was the first hotel ive ever heard about that wired room. Anyway i bought a cable and comeback to the room then i found there is kinda bluetooth speaker and that speaker can charge the phone. If anyone explained that i can use that speaker for charge i did not need to buy anything .... suddenly wifi is not working so i couldnt use wifi whole night that was really really uncomfortable as well.
Actually i have to comeback 24 dec bc of my friend booked for this hotel as prepaid booking. I wish i could see better hospitality service for next stay.

In the aftermath of super typhoon Yutu, we were part of a disaster response team. Our entire team stayed at the hotel for three weeks, and then about half the team stayed for two more weeks. Even though the hotel and their employees were all dealing with the hardship of recovery from a typhoon, they were incredibly helpful and went far above and beyond in serving us. I hope to return to Saipan with my wife, and we will certainly be staying at the Kanoa Resort.

I booked a room here on a moment's notice and that call was like the rest of my 4-day stay. The service is excellent, from the front desk pros to the chambermaids. I stayed here just a few weeks after the super typhoon hit, but every bit of comfort was provided. The rooms are clean, the AC cold, and the bathroom spacious. Super affordable and a short drive to main hotspots. Our room came with breakfast, and that didn't disappoint, either. I'd definitely stay here again!

Room tip: For the best ocean views -- and sunsets -- book a room on the higher floors.
