Unfortunately, as frequent customers, this night at Casa Urashima was terrible. After 1:10 minutes, our main course was not out. Arrived at 6:30 pm, made the order, and I had to get up to get water. Staff did not even check on us. They seem to have lost our order, even when we were in the same area with the manager and their family. Very disappointing, I hope they prioritize on customers.

Casa Urashima looks a little nondescript from the outside but don't let looks deceive you! This was my third visit to the restaurant, operating in a re-purposed residential home, and on each occasion I was treated to a wonderful culinary experience. If you want fast mass produced Japanese food then this will probably not be for you but if you want what I can only describe as affordable Japanese "haute cuisine" that's made to order then I highly recommend this restaurant. I also recommend their Moscow mule - delicious!

Excellent food. A small out of the way mid to high level priced restaurant. A variety of Asian, Italian, and seafood dishes. With a warm atmosphere. Reservations are required. This establishment is literally a 3 bedroom home that has become a restaurant. Parking is also limited.

I promise I own absolutely no portion of this place and have no business relationship with them. However, in reading the negative reviews, I feel compelled to speak up: If you want fast food, go someplace else. This place serves FAMILY STYLE. If more than one of you are there, they will serve your courses one at a time. This is NOT the place to go if you have a group and everyone wants their own meal at the same time. The whole idea is to SHARE the food and SHARE the evening. Order 5 or 6 dishes and you will be making an evening of the experience. You will have the excellent adventure of savoring some of the highest quality and best food on island in a relaxed atmosphere, while handing the plates around to your accompanying dinner companions (clean plates and serving silverware are set on your table, so you share the food in a hygienically-safe manner). It was my first time to try the restaurant and was so excited but the excitement faded after an hour of wait..then half an hour..then two hours. My pasta dish (supposedly "hand made") never came out. I cancelled my dish and ate my friend's burnt pizza instead. Had to eat it because i was HANGRY! Very very disappointed.
