“Piping hot and spicy fried chicken”

Good to eat fried chicken just fresh out of the fryer. Ordered 8-pce thinking they were regular size chicken parts but they were cut up. There was a wing, drumstick, and cut up thigh and breast pieces. I like that they were cut in portions to easily bite. Spicy sauce is SPICY good! Fast and courteous service.

My boyfriend and I are regular customers at Zoom Cafe. I also hang out with my friends at Zoom Cafe a lot for the karaoke rooms. Their Kimchi Fried Rice and Soy Sauce Chicken are amazing and my faves, plus their good service. However, last night’s (12/15/2018) service was a little different. After finishing up my meal, I walked up to the cashier to pay and she was IGNORING ME ON PURPOSE. Two of her colleagues were telling her that I was going to pay and she brushed BOTH of them away! Even giving attitude to the waiter that informed her that I was lining to pay. After the other waiters left, she just straight up told me “$20.” No apology was given, not a crack of smile shown, and no thank you was said after the payment. I was really quite upset by her behavior that I wish I got her name.

I went to the place with a group of people and came out with mixed reviews. The place has a good amount of seating, not a lot of parking. The bathroom doesn’t really work, not really any running water. The menu was a little different. They serve a lot of coffee and smoothies and then they service chicken. What I thought was ridiculous was $8 for French fries and not a lot of them at that. The menus online don’t have prices but the prices are moderate, around $10/meal. Smaller portions of some of the meals. The sweet and sour chicken had an overwhelming amount of sauce on it and there wasn’t a lot of meat on the bones, it was just basically fried skin. I wouldn’t recommend that. But other people enjoyed their food. It’s a place you kind of go once, if you like it you go back, but it’s not a must stop.

We went there at around 11pm at night and we really enjoyed the soy sauce chicken. We would like to order more but we were informed that the kitchen was already closed. It would’ve been nice to inform the customers about the last call for orders. Overall, it was a pleasant visit.

When you get enough of it, the chicken kind of gets old, but that's where all the other food items come in. Vest and closest place for me to get a good tteokbokki! I'm glad they got some matcha goods but not worth the price.. It's a great place but I've encountered a good number of issues when it came to paying the bill.. We'd get charged for something we didn't order and it took awhile to get that settled because they insisted that we paid for it, we even took a look at our waste and was positive no one ordered it yet they finally let it go after someones mother actually came and saw the situation we were in.
