The Pacific Island Club Hotel in Guam is an absolute nightmare. The first thing you'll notice is the presence of cockroaches in the stairwells. But that's not all. The hotel also has a host of hidden charges that they conveniently fail to mention while booking. The added burden of these extra charges can hurt your budget, leaving you feeling like you were ripped off. They spring this on you at the last-minute check-out when you're trying to go to the airport to catch your flight. This leaves you back into a corner, and they strong-arm you out of your money.
It can be frustrating to encounter staff members who need more proficiency in English, as this can make effective communication impossible. Even the simplest requests can be difficult to convey, and you may feel stranded and helpless. This can make an already difficult situation even more unpleasant.
Overall, the Pacific Island Club Hotel in Guam is an absolute disaster. It's a shame that a hotel with such a prime location can have such a poor standard of service. While this hotel has previously been highly regarded, my most recent experience did not meet my expectations. Some areas may be where improvements could be made to enhance the overall guest experience. Do not be lured by the waterpark. The hotel waterpark is extremely overcrowded, with no space to move around due to selling tickets to people staying outside the hotel to make money. The hotel does not reinvest profits back into the hotel as run done once you past their flashy entrance. Last stay at this place. The review leaves me sad to write, but i don't want your family to have the experience that I had.
It has become an AVOID AT ALL COSTS place.
