Everything here was just average, then there's the stained and dirty carpet in our room which made the initial impression go downhill. It fit the saying "you get what you paid for" which is unfortunate. Plus, we paid around $89 a night which was really not that cheap considering this is Guam. We visit Guam twice a year for my son's BJJ competition. We decided to stay in a different hotel this time for the main purpose of adding reviews here in TripAdvisor. I regret it immensely as we could have stayed in a better hotel; one that we already have tried and tested for the same rate.
Granted, the rest of the room was clean esp. the bathroom which is a plus. Otherwise, I'd give 2 stars for this hotel. The bed was not springy or lumpy, just old and makes creaking sounds. Again, carpet needs to go. They would benefit on just changing it to wood or tiles altogether. The parking was also another challenge - limited esp. at nights. You end up parking outside (besides the hotel - not far). It was raining that weekend so it's muddy. There's another covered parking at front basement but is not connected to the hotel (if it was, the stairs were locked then), so you have to walk up a stairs, out the front door and walk out to the main lobby. It's just inconvenience esp. if you're a shopper in Ross, lol. The pool was small but clean. They don't provide towels. Make sure you bring your towels from your room. Staff are also not as welcoming nor friendly. Not rude either. Just there. Uneventful.
A very generous 3 stars for a 2 star experience over all. Just one time stay for us.
