Owner description: A large beach in Oahu.
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I thoroughly enjoy Waimanalo beach. I have visited during two trips to Oahu and it is one of my favorite spots. The beach is wide, clean, and stretches for miles. Every time I am there, it is quiet and uncrowded, and feels like it's my own private beach! Great for sunbathing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming and running. The color of the clear, clean water is stunning!

Beautiful stretch of beach. Sand is super fine & sometimes requires. Second wash to get out of your hair. Beware of man of wars in the water & on the beach especially on windy days. They can leave a painful sting & a nasty reaction for some.

we stopped there on our way to north coast and there was nobody there except for a small community of homeless people and the beach was not very clean, i have no idea where the others are saying this is the best beach ever...but im including photos...of the row of garbage and tents from the homeless that seem to be living there.

We were in Oahu for 7 days and we went to this beach every single day of our trip. My 12 and 9 year old children did some boogie boarding in the waves and also just swam around. No coral or rocks at this beach. Just a beautiful sandy beach. We went to 5-7 beaches and this one by far was the best. There is a tent city of homeless at the top but they didn’t approach anyone at all and never bothered anyone. Look past that and he beach and sun was awaking. Absolutely recommend for kids, teens and adults of all ages (except babies in the ocean of course). Can’t wait to go back in a few months!

This is a gorgeous beach to spend a day. Just amazing blue sea and the mountains are in a backdrop. Just a perfect scenario. I really recommend to go and enjoy the place. Not so many people, you can chill and relax with no crowds.
