“cute little cottage by the sea”
Reviewed 23 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This was a sweet little bottom half of a cottage right on the ocean. Although a little out-dated (fridge and stove), the location was lovely. We seemed to be in a little cloud bank but the weather was unusually cold for this time of year as well as the water temp.It was nice to get out of the sun anyway and the swimming was refreshing. I would definitely go again if I get my deposit back.

“Relaxed beach front in the Oahu countryside”

This is a lovey, quiet spot on the east side of the North Shore. The beach outside is protected by the reef and great for snorkeling, small kids and just hanging out. You are 20 min from Turtle bay, and 30 from the big surf near Waimea. The two food trucks down the street are great, there are plenty of shops in Hauula and Laie and even more dining options up the road in Kahuku. Leave the windows open and you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

The unit is cozy, but the screened in porch allows for dining in comfort. The kitchen is small, but decently equipped. You may have to head back to Kaneohe if you need more than the local Foodland will supply. Make sure to check with the local fishermen- they often have tuna, Mahi and swordfish for sale fresh from their driveways, also Fumi's will sell fresh shrimp, but go early before they sell out.

This is not a brand new shiny complex and if you want that head to Turtle Bay. It is a very well kept, laid back place where everyone is pretty happy to be on vacation and no one is rushing to claim best spot on the beach (is there a spot that isn't good?).

“Great view but needs some TLC”
Reviewed 25 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

The unit was the right size for three adults, and five would be okay if three were kids under 12. Some of the furniture is well used but works for asuch time as you spend in the unit. I mean you aren't in Hawaii to be inside. The screened lanai was nice for playing cards in the evening and for breakfast in the morning. The beach was beautiful and we saw turtles swimming one morning while snorkeling. There was containers for recycling and everyone onsite seemed friendly.

“"A Home In Paradise"”
Reviewed 4 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

"A Home In Paradise" ... We never felt like we had to leave the cottage! As clean as clean can be, with the ocean just steps away and an enclosed lanai, the sound of the waves, beach chairs and picnic tables outside the cottage and everything you need from pots and pans - A real "must" to come back and
stay in this dreamy cottage!
