The accommodations are great but unfortunately the COVID-19 mask protocol is VERY lacking. We all either pay to own here or pay to be here and the staff and security are willing to overlook this in favor of a few big spender guests who are here and may have bought more weeks or points than we did. Management needs to put security out around the pool deck or happy hour bar and require all quests to mask up- which is the policy of the the state, county and the resort - we came to Maui because of this. VERY VERY poor management protocol and will definitely think long and hard before coming back to this resort even after covid. There is no excuse from management in regards to lack of staff due to slow reopening security of ALL guests should be of upmost importance.
They are willing to continually try to get us to do an update and give HRC more money but not put our money into security for our health and the employees of resort health and safety. Shame on HRC Maui managementMore
