Joy's Place offers organic, vegan and gluten free options in a casual setting near the beach in Kihei. Daily specials, smoothies and also options for those who do eat meat, this was a great option during my vacation. Thank you!

Wholesome, simple but delicious sandwiches, wraps and soup, in super-generous portions with friendly service. Many items, including desserts, are dairy free.
The sign indicating Joy's among many others on a billboard is small and faded, so we would never have found it if we hadn't been advised to look. Keep your eyes peeled for a neon sign in the window up a side street, and enjoy a breakfast or lunch that will keep you going for hours.

We were looking for a place that had healthy eating and a decent sized menu for vegetarians and vegans. Finding vegan food while traveling can be nigh impossible so we were so excited we found Joy's Place. The food we had was filling and tasted great and the staff was incredibly friendly and joked with us throughout our meal. We went here twice and ordered different wraps each time and enjoyed everything we ordered.

We went for breakfast at Joy's. I had what the menu said was the panini breakfast sandwich. My husband had a breakfast burrito. His was large and filling, but a bit bland. He did not add the vegan sausage for an extra charge that may have given it more flavor. My breakfast sandwich with the vegan sausage was well, underwhelming. As far as presentation it looked pretty pitiful. A super thin slice of tomato with some steamed? white onions and eggs. I would suggest throwing on some spinach on the sandwich or putting a garnish on the side. Just something to make it look and taste more appealing. The shop is cute and the staff was friendly, but there was some kind of underlying stress running between them. Maybe the boss is wound too tight. I'll give it another try for lunch and see if the love is there.
