We went there on our first day in Maui and apparently a small sushi place that requires reservation. They had an empty table that we sat on. Their sushi was amazing and my kids loved Their udon noodles. The lady hostess is really nice

we got there 5:50 PM and were 4th in line. Opens promptly at 6 and orders taken in order of entry so it takes a while. reward is fresh, well prepared sushi and sashimi at very reasonable prices. limited wine and sake list get the $15 sake flight: 5 generous
shot glasses of different sakes or a beer.

This is the second visit to Sushi Paradise; the last visit was in 2013. I must say this Restaurant has the best sushi experience I've enjoyed outside of Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. The restaurant has seating for only a dozen or so people. Please make reservations ahead of time; they don't take walk-ins. The restaurant is located in a non descript strip mall. The interior of the restaurant is not real fancy. If you can ignore those aspects you will be treated to some of the best sushi ever.

This restaurant is owned by a Japanese sushi master and what you'll eat here is exactly the same food made with the same passion that you can eat in a real Japanese sushi restaurant. Service is a little slow because the man who makes the sushi and sashimi is just himself, but the waiting is worth the meal. Fish is fresh and the price is really good for what you get.

This is our "go to" place for sushi on Maui! We live on Maui and we love eating sushi. We've tried most of the sushi bars (I think we've tried them all but just in case I missed one) and this is our favorite! I'm going to say this upfront YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS! Please, don't just go there and expect to get a seat. It's a rare occasion that you'll be successful. If you make a reservation at 6p (they open at 6p), be there 10-15 minutes before and wait in the seats outside the doors. Trust me. Watanabe-san, the proprietor and master chef, is amazing! I love the o-toro and hamachi! Always fresh and always delicious! The saimin, shown in my photo, is one of my favorites! The slices of pork melt in your mouth like buttah, the noodles are boiled to perfection, and the dashi (broth) brings it all together. My wife loves the salmon skin roll (must try!) and the hamachi kama (broiled collar), so do I for that matter. They have a great selection of Japanese beers and sake. Finally, finish off your meal with their homemade green tea ice cream! It's the perfect way to end the evening! Enjoy!!! Itadakimasu!
