We spent 2 nights here in a two queen room and were pleased. Rooms were quiet, clean, and the showers hot. All we need when traveling. The breakfast was a little chaotic but since we didn’t expect it was an added treat. Parking was good and easy day trips to the Tetons.

I plan and book rooms 6+ months ahead. Reviewers of this Inn should clearly state which block their rooms were. Our room was at ground level in the older 2 story block. It had obviously been refurbed but still had many annoying points.
There are no electrical power outlets near to the bed head. We use CPAP machines that end up us having to use an extension cord that we travel the world weith for such dumb room designs.
The vanity mirror has 10 very bright amnd heat emitting light bulbs around it. I guess that is 1000 W of wasted energy every time you need to use the sink.
There is no safe, coffee kettle, fridge or microwave.
The towels were grey in colour, scratchy and small in size.
There is no attempt to recycle in the breakfast area; with foam plates and cups etc; which in a town like JH is surprising.
There are some positives:
Town centre.
A great night's sleep of a firm king sized bed.
In 6 weeks of travelling in USA and Canada this was only the 2nd hotel to supply 2 suitcase stands. The Whistler Fairmont was the other.
Overall for the room in the 2 story block = 3 stars.

Just happened on Ranch Inn in trying to find a place in the immediate town square area. This facility is one block from square. Nice hotel in the old west style of most hotels in downtown area. More modern hotels are in outlying areas. The square is a must visit as is Cowboy Bar where you can sit on saddles at the bar. Shopping is endless. Block after block of stores. Also museums and artwork everywhere. Staff at Ranch Inn were courteous and helpful. Limited continental breakfast. Great location if willing to forgo some of the amenities of the newer hotels.

Room Tip: Ask for room #201. It's the corner room on second floor at the intersection and you have great view of the town and the mountains.

We spent one night at the Ranch Inn when we arrived in Jackson. The people were friendly and helpful. The room was huge and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is included in the room price, but it is a very minimal continental offering. Still, the price was quite reasonable given the room, the service, and the great location (one block from the Jackson Square).

Stayed one night. The hotel is nothing fancy, but the location is fantastic. Right in downtown, walking distance to everything in Jackson Hole! It was nice to park the car and just walk to all the shopping and restaurants.
