this hotel is very neat and clean.
I have stayed here multiple times in the past and I would definitely stay year again and again
location is very convenient and walking distance to multiple restaurant and gas station,new management is customer oriented and care about the satisfaction

Booked our room on the IHG app and when we got there they said they didn’t have a room with two queens like I had booked. They only had a King available, I had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. A king bed with no sofa was not going to work. They couldn’t recommend me any other options either. For this being their error they should have given me two king rooms for what I paid. Very disappointed especially since I booked it on their own app under my rewards number. I normally don’t write reviews, but felt I needed to with the poor service I received.

My parents both had doctors appointments in the Charleston area a day apart from one another, so we booked a night at the Holiday Inn in Southridge because it was conveniently close to the hospital. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. The continental breakfast was very nice and had a large selection; every thing from the gravy and biscuits to the fresh fruit were delicious. The pool was also nice and clean. Now, to the cons. The wifi was out our entire stay, unfortunate because I do online schooling and my father needed to access it for his job. The phone in our room wasn't working, which was also inconvenient. There was a crack on the TV screen which was very noticeable and was hard to take focus off of it. The fitness room smelled of mold which was very concerning and there was a ceiling tile nearly hanging off, could be a hazard to someone entering or exiting the room as it was right near the door. Hopefully these things can be fixed soon so others can enjoy their stay. Also, not a huge deal, but when did they decide to get rid of hair dryers? I know 2023, but it's still a necessity to have in every hotel room.

The hotel was horrible. Elevator was broken. Rooms were not clean - family member had to change rooms because there was hair all over their pillows and sheets. Our beds looked slept in and we found tissues in the sheets. On top of that lots of fixing needs done. Breakfast area looks makeshift. There were boxes with various junk in them laying around the floor we were in. I think the 5 star reviews I’ve seen are from owners or staff!!

Room tip: Find someplace else. Owners/operators obviously are doing bare minimum, if that.

I have never been to a worse hotel. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The elevator did not work, the hallways were so filthy, there was trash laying on the windowsills and hallway floors, the pool water was so hot it felt like a hot tub, we were locked out of our room on day two b/c our key card no longer worked. The room itself was disgusting. The floor, walls, and sheets were covered in stains. We will never be back.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Holiday Inn establishment. When we checked in we were told the only available rooms were on the 5th floor, but get this, the elevator wasn’t working. My brother had knee surgery which made it very hard for him to climb those stairs. When we got to the 5th floor we saw almost every room open with the lights on and empty. We found out later from the clerk that many of the rooms were being cleaned because of a bed bug infestation. Thankfully we didn’t see any in our room or had any bites. The room looked old and the tv was old and not hi def. My brother also had an outlet that did’t charge his phone overnight. But the worst thing
was that the smoke detector was broken without the cover or battery in it! Dangerous and a major safety violation. The reason we didn’t leave was we got there so late in the evening.
Next morning my friend tried to get pancakes and the pancake machine didn’t work There were no napkins available in the. breakfast room. Clerk only offered to take 10% off the bill The whole place screamed of bad management. Just a horrible experience.
