Stayed here one night for a soccer tournament. The hotel is in a very odd location with little else around. The front desk staff was courteous but customer service wasn’t top priority. The staff managing breakfast however were very customer friendly and helpful. The room was fine and relatively clean although there was a used wash cloth hanging with the shower curtain. The room smelled a bit musty but bearable. My bed was very/noticeably slanted. If I had to stay another night, I would have had to move rooms. Glad it was just a one night stay. They had ev chargers which was a definite plus for me and my EV.

Although not a new hotel, it has been lovingly remodeled and perfectly met our needs. So many thoughtful features. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water & great water pressure in the shower, thirsty towels, huge & modern TV.
Our room was spotless thanks to Sierra.
Lisa at check-in welcomed us warmly and gave suggestions for places to visit.
Connie, the breakfast hostess was friendly and kept everything tidy and well stocked, dining room spotless, and still had time to visit. It is evident that Sierra, Lisa & Connie love their jobs and have been well trained in customer service.
Although this hotel doesn’t have a pool, take your room key, go next door to the Holiday Inn, and check at the front desk. They will let you use their pool. Sweet!

Very clean and the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. Located close to the port (we had a cruise planned the next day) and had plenty of restaurant choices in the area. Felt safe. I know that people unfamiliar with the area sometimes worry about this - well you don't have to worry at this location!

Reserved based on good reviews on TripAdvisor BUT unfortunately after checking into a nicely furnished king with sofabed, we heard (and felt) the first train rumbling through at @1100pm. It continued all night almost every hour with frequent long trains with whistles. Did not stop until @7am. 4 tracks immediately behind hotel and railyard 1/2 mile away. HVAC also had high whine noise. Breakfast was fine but we were so tired, we almost missed the watery jello like eggs and rubbery turkey sausage. Convenient to I-64 but too loud. Very unfortunate. Marriott should have sprung for soundproof windows.

Room tip: Bring ear plugs

Stopped here heading home from NJ. Pleasantly upgraded to a suite. Room was very clean (I always wipe down everything with a Lysol wipe) no dirt on my cloth! Bed was very comfy and the shower was awesome, great water pressure. Breakfast was good. Only negatives, there was no place to hang our towels, toiletry bags in the bathroom and the dog in the room beneath us barking. I wish hotels would confine pets to the first floor. I mentioned the lack of hooks to the clerk at the desk and he probably is having them installed as I type this review, he was on it.

The person who checked us in was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast selection. I was concerned about train noise as it is close to tracks but I didn't hear any train noise.

Room tip: There is a middle school across the street so if school is in session just leave via the street behind the hotel during pickup and dropoff.
