The indoor/outdoor pool is nice and the breakfast was above average, with real plates and cutlery. First floor rooms are accessed by walking through the breakfast room, a very awkward access. Room key was balky; it took repeated tries for most entries. The rooms surround a very pleasant courtyard. All rooms are touted as non-smoking; however my room had been a former smoking room and stank. There were cigarette burn marks at various places in the room. The A/C did not pull out humidity, so the place was stale and stinky. No ice machine on the first floor, I was told by the front desk, so she said she would get me some ice. 5 minute wait. For $100/night I expected far better than I got at this hotel. I have stayed in many Choice hotels, but will not return to this one until it's renovated.
