I went to Mineral Wells for a church conference. Comfort Suites was right there - a stone's throw from the church - with all kinds of eating places around.
Parking at the motel was convenient to my room.
Breakfast was fantastic!
My room was clean, well lighted, quiet, and good size.
The best thin\g (for me) was the convenience.

The staff of Comfort Suites went above and beyond to make my daughter’s wedding perfect. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The staff was friendly, the rooms we booked were very nice, and everything we needed was taken care of promptly.

Husband and I arrived at this hotel around 5:30 pm. The desk staff were excellent helping us in all ways. The aroma of the Pub/Restaurant was mouthwatering. Baked spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread. The desk staff encouraged us to try the special. The hotel room was perfect. We went to the McGregor's pub/Restaurant at 6:30 pm. Two groups of people were in the eating area - a party of four and a party of two. We sat ourselves. Ten minutes later the waitress appeared taking our soda order and giving us the menus. Five minute later she returned with soda order and we requested the "Special" of the evening. (noted above). Forty-five minutes later we had received nothing further. No communication from the wait staff or anyone else for that matter. The party of four finished their meal and left. The party of two was still waiting for their meal. We also were waiting. My husband elected to pay for the sodas and mentioned we could not wait any longer for the meal. The kitchen staff responded. "We are told to take one order at a time and finish it completely before starting the next one in the order she receives it". The waitress stated she did not know this either until tonight. I over heard from the kitchen all payments were done in cash only. No credit cards or placing on hotel bill. The entire experience of this Pub/restaurant was very strange to us. We did leave and went to another restaurant which we were served immediately and got the food immediately. I felt both staff members needed to be retrained if this is how the service goes. Also, the waitress should have mentioned to order and go returning in an hour or two to pick up hot food. Also, the hours for the restaurant were 5 pm to 9 pm -- at the speed the kitchen help was working, the place would have closed by then. Go to sleep at the Comfort Inn, but don't go to the restaurant...you could still be waiting!
We are glad to know that you enjoyed your overnight accommodations here at Comfort Suites Mineral Wells. I was sorry to hear of the disappointment you encountered dining at our on-site restaurant. Your comments have been shared with our Restaurant Manager who has addressed them with the staff there to clarify some possible miscommunications regarding the new computer system for orders. Please know, too, that they do accept credit cards for orders in the Pub. Should your travels permit a return visit we sincerely hope that you will give them another chance to exceed your expectations!
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past four years. I receive great service and a friendly smile every time upon check in. A complimentary drink in the hotel bar is a nice touch. Staff is always good recommending local restaurants. I will continue to stay at this hotel in my future visits to the area.

I have stayed at this hotel many of times. Checked in by Brandi at the front desk had no wait. She was very polite and explained everything really well. Called and checked to see if room was ok. For those who drive big trucks they have truck parking. If you plan on staying a little while longer they have a BBQ grill in the courtyard.
