Ordered their take out special of the day - roast beef, mashed potatoes and also purchased lemon meringue pie. Good comfort food on the spot! Nicely priced. Plenty of seating for friends, family, etc. Right off Interstate 77, not far to drive. NOT a chain restaurant.

I had targeted this restaurant on our way north owing to the good reviews and to avoid "the usual" fast food lunch stops. I was very pleasantly glad that I stopped and the reviews are right on. The menu had a lot of choices and the food seemed home cooked. The service and the food were excellent and the staff was very friendly. The place is a little difficult to see due to being situated on a hill on the NE corner of the exit intersection and doesn't have a big sign.

Highly recommend if on I-77. Staff friendly and food is delicious! Check out the bakery also for homemade sweet treats. You will not be disappointed!

Good home cooked meals. The freshly made rolls are outstandingly tasteful. I tried the roast beef open faced sandwich and it was good. My wife had the Sunday special which was a baked steak with a side and it was good also. The potato soup wasn't that good, that is why it isn't a 5 Star rating. I would definitely eat here again if in the area. Would like to try their breakfast someday. Cash only or a local check. Huge selection of desserts.
