Very nice check in.
Small pillows. Noisy, noisy,noisy! We had zero sleep! Guests in hallway at 1am loudly talking on phone. Walls are thin.
The bridge on the highway above it was a noise trap for the whole hotel. It was unbelievable. We left at 5 :am in the dark and fog because we were so frustrated.
Area was dark and it was hard to find the road into the hotel.
I read ALL the reviews of every hotel in Charleston WV before making a decision. Country Inn & Suites was welcoming & every employee was extremely nice. There were no signs of any pest issues, and trust me, I looked EVERYWHERE! There were thick towels and nice bed linens, & I could barely hear any noise from the interstate. Thick curtains blocked out all outside lights. The only issue I had was from a man in a work vehicle who put 8 white marks on my black car from hitting it with his door. I know he was aware he done so, cause he sped off when he saw me.
Nice, clean room with comfortable beds. Plenty of space on bath counter.
The front desk attendants, both that night and in the morning were wonderfully friendly and conversational.
A stellar breakfast by Julie with everything from waffles to cold cereal. Eggs, sausage, home fries and all sorts of toast and pastries. Can not say enough about the great breakfast! Thank you!
Dirty, noisy, uncomfortable, totally unprofessional staff
Location was basically a truck stop . No place to walk after a long day of driving.
Smoking area was designated at the front door, we were greeted by groups hanging out, smoking, drinking and smelling up the entrance and lobby (suggest moving the designated smoking area to the back of the building.
Lots of highway noise (even though we were told we were in a quiet room. Needed a room for a night, received nothing more
This hotel is not easily accessible. It is in a high traffic area and you actually have to do a U turn on a city street to get going in the right direction. Location did not feel particularly safe to me. Bed was not comfortable. I don’t recommend this place.
