We were warmly and efficiently welcomed to the inn. The room was immaculate and completely renovated. It is small, but had all the amenities we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Conveniently off the highway, but very quiet and safe at night. Complimentary popcorn and cookies made our evening. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. All in all, a great room at a great price. We would definitely return.
This is a great little hotel. Everything was clean and updated and even the breakfast was good. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, and the price is less then $100! In fact, we decided to take an extra day on our way back home and chose to stay here again.
The staff were friendly and courteous it was cleaner than almost any hotel I have ever stayed in. I have cleaned for a living it is very hard to keep a place this immaculate. We are from Savannah Ga. WV you are raising your bar!!! Thank you Wes!!☀️
The room was clean, and the queen-size bed was comfortable, but large enough to compromise space in the room, so our luggage rack had to be positioned by the door, which impeded entry and exit. The hot breakfast was fine, but the compostable plates and coffee cups went right into the trash, thereby defeating the purpose of biodegradable materials. I would prefer a hotel that is more eco-friendly.
We travel occasionally through Charleston and have never really found a place that we liked. Until we landed at Sleep Inn! It is a very new building, is easy to get to, the parking lot was well maintained (in a stretch of bad weather); check in was easy as two staff members made sure all was right. Our room was spacious, the bedding and towels were of excellent quality, the HVAC was quiet and so was the room. The shower was clean and bright. And in the parking lot is a great family diner!
I thought I was going to end here- but then we went to breakfast. Surprise! Waffles, scrambled (and hard boiled) eggs, sausage-- and since we are south of the Ohio River, the biscuits and gravy were delightful and waiting for us.
Before we left on our trip, a friend asked us, "Where is a good place to stay in Charleston?" We said, "We're still looking". We are going to call our friend up and tell them about the Sleep Inn! Many thanks to the staff who made us welcome and keep the place looking so nice!
