Was traveling to Charlotte and stopped off at the hotel which is directly across from the Civic Center. I would say a 60 second walk. Parking is free. Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean and comfortable and service was.friendly. I will be back
Check in was easy. Room was marginally cleaned. All the staff were complaining but I guess what should I expect in West Virginia. Checkout was uneventful. Lady at the front desk was rude but again, my expectations weren’t much. She acted like me asking her a question bothered her. Definitely wont stay again.

We stopped here for the night on our way home from Florida. Hotel was fairly easy to get to from the highway. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and had the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on (I actually googled where I could buy them!). Walking distance to fast food and a mall. We did not get to enjoy the breakfast as we were heading out early. However, they were setting up the breakfast area as we were leaving and they were kind enough to let me take some milk for my son.
We stayed in Charleston overnight on our way to New River Gorge. This Holiday Inn Express was very clean and convenient. Close to several good bars and restaurants located downtown. Beds were comfortable. No hesitation about recommending this as a place to stay.
Hotel is very easy to get to right off the highway. Reasonably price for the area. Parking is easy and well lit at night! The lady at check-in was really polite and told us they have a complementary breakfast from 6 to 10. They have luggage carts to make it easy trip to get your bags to the room. The hallways are very clean too. Inside the room there is a refrigerator microwave and coffee machine with K cups. Large, high resolution TV. Dove products in the bathroom. Room decor is modern in room is very clean. Would recommend to others .
