1st. wasn't welcome as a Honor member. Got two keys then went to the 3rd, floor. Both keys did not work. Back to the desk to get new keys. Then hand soap was empty so we used the one we travel with. When I took the shower, the water never drain out, so my wife didn't take a shower when it was her turn because of the standing water.

We stayed on the 2nd floor for a Lauren Daigle concert at the Civic Center right across Quarrier St, the location was perfect. It is a bright and clean hotel; and whoever is managing the housekeeping department deserves a gold star. There were housekeeping employees everywhere and each one of them greeted us. The housekeeping person named TJ was particularly good; the room was immaculate and he was very helpful and friendly. This is a very well-managed hotel over all, I don’t think I’ve met kinder employees anywhere else. Excellent place, we’d stay here again.
This was a good mid point to stop, rest and get some shut eye during our trip. No complaints. It met our expectations: complimentary hot breakfast, suite with a king bed, and the staff was courteous friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and there was no proliferation of noise (from other guests) when we went to sleep.

We only spent one night at this location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was your typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. The outside of the hotel is dated but they had plenty of parking. You are walking distance to downtown. Overall, I would stay here again.
I didn't think it was too bad of a place until I was sitting in the chair in the corner and noticed the desk chair was very dusty on the bottom and very worn on the seat. I was shocked to find such a worn-out chair in a Holiday Inn Express.
I can't say that I found anything else to criticize.
