Stayed here for the evening as a stop point on a cross country bus tour. Stayed on 4th floor. Hotel close to town center. Good walkability around hotel and adequate parking. Room was a little noisy with street traffic until settled down well into night. Well furnished complimentary breakfast buffet. Staff members were congenial throughout our stay. Room was clean & well appointed. Good choice if looking for room with nice accommodations.
This is the second time I have had a bad experience with Holiday Inn regarding cancellation. The first time was with a different location. There was a state of emergency due to a snow storm and I couldn't get a refund. This time I was well within the cancellation time limit. I had booked with points and cash. They would not refund the cash. Only points. They will take your money every chance they get!

We enjoyed our stay overall. We experienced kind staff and a good breakfast. Our only complaint is evidence of the bathroom counter and sink not being cleaned prior to us checking in, and a dirty washcloth found in the shower. However, we would stay here again despite cleaning issues.
I am not sure what was the word around about bad parking lot. It's fine. It might seen better days. But, I've seen much, much worst.
Surprisingly nice clean hotel. Service desk was great and overall experience was satisfactory.
Upon arrival to the hotel, it was very sketchy from the exterior. The parking lot was in poor condition and it was not in a nice location at all. However, the bright side was that the room was much nicer than expected. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had decent towels and the bedding was comfortable. My only big complaint was the extreme lack of water pressure in the shower. I wish that this chain of hotels would not continue to install the water flow reducers in the shower. Makes for a lousy shower for their guests. Would I stay again? I hope not to have the need to visit Charleston again. It was not a destination place that I would need to repeat.
