Very interesting small bites - including the rather gamey but nevertheless delicious Pig Wings! This is essentially wild-boar riblets. The Reuben spring rolls were tasty by a little too much wrapper and not enough meat!

My date and I would like to applaud our amazing server, Jason! For a busy Saturday night he was the only staff member we saw the entire 3 hours we dined. I have worked at a restaurant in college and I am aware of how hard it can be having ( we counted 12 other tables with 33 ppl at one point) 4 tables at once, much less the whole dining room, lounge, and patio to himself! He ran all the food himself and even though there seemed to be a bartender engaged with just one couple at the bar, we noticed Jason would make most of the drinks himself. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine and we were delighted by his suggested food and wine pairings. Even though he was very efficient and professional he seemed stretched very thin with the amount of tables inside and outside the restaurant, especially a boisterous large group of drinkers near our table that insisted on ordering one drink at a time every time he came to them instead of all at once like decent ppl should. Jason handled all this with aplomb. I even asked the host on the way out if there was a manager I could speak to so I could compliment Jason's service, but was told he was elsewhere in the hotel doing inventory. Which brought me here, to praise and applaud our server for this evening of June 30th. In previous visits to this establishment the food was rather dull, but after informing Jason what we tried before he convinced us to try items we normally would avoid (the "pig wings" and the brie cheese)but ended up loving! Also he was able to help my date adjust her items to be gluten free. The scallops and the steak were also cooked perfectly. If you choose to dine here, ask for Jason!

Had breakfast on the day we checked out, despite our one night stay at the Westin back in late March. Very friendly staff and food was excellent. Opted for the pancakes from the menu along with coffee/juice which was also excellent. Definitely recommend this place overall.

We hadn't been here in a few years; three of us went with two out of town guests who were looking for something with a good wine list. At lunch time on a Saturday, the place was empty. Even though it was 1:30 pm, we were handed breakfast menus and had to ask for the lunch ones.

The service was poor to average; the server had trouble answering question about the menu and was not very attentive. When I asked about the crab salad, we were told that the kitchen only had one!?! As for the food, I had the one crab salad--it was good but very plain and I don't think it had everything in it that the menu described. Two in the party had burgers and enjoyed them, two others had steak salads that they said were OK but nothing special. It's a shame such a nice place with a quiet al fresco patio has mediocre food and service.

This was by far the worst restaurant experience at a Westin property and probably one of the worst dinner experiences ever. There were two tables finishing up when we were seated,.
*No water for more than 10 minutes - drink order taken at about the 10 minute mark. We also asked to the Charcuterie
*20 minutes later, I asked the host if it was a bad night and whether we should just leave. *We had not been served our wine - there was no service of any type after our order was taken
*The waiter brought out the wine and put in on the bar - about 5 - 7 minutes later, he returned with a bottle of red and two white wine glasses. We asked for red wine glasses - he disappeared for another 5-7 minutes.
*The Charcuterie was delivered - still no wine
*The waiter finally came back with two glasses. Using the wine key seemed to be a challenge but he finally got the bottle open - we asked for menu recommendations, there were none forthcoming - we ordered a salad and a steak
*About 20 Minutes later, the salad arrived - we asked about the steak, they were supposed to be delivered together
*The waiter came over to pour wine - we told him we were still waiting on the steak
*After another 10 minutes or so, we asked for the waiter. When he came over, we asked about the steak. He hadn't put in the steak, he was waiting on us to finish the salad (my wife's entree)
*About 15 - 20 minutes later, the steak came. Unfortunately, it took 5-7 minutes for the waiter to find a steak knife - the lukewarm steak was fine, just fine. Not the best, not the worst

When we asked the host about the service, he said it has been that way for a couple days, ever since a server quit recently. Hard to understand, there was no one in the restaurant. We asked if anyone was in charge and he gave us the name of a manager. We saw the manager on the floor two or three times but he did not come over - though we asked to speak with him. It is clear there is a major management problem. Servers are untrained, glasses and cutlery seemed to be hard to find or had to be cleaned. The server seemed very frustrated with what he had to work with.

As a high level platinum SPG member, I always try to support the SPG Hotel restaurants. Unfortunately, I will steer clear of this restaurant in the future. We were close to leaving before the food came, we should have. It was the most frustrating meal ever and was not inexpensive.We have a ten minute rule. We ignored the rule because we had been traveling all day and were very tired. If you have a 10 minute rule - stick to it...
