It seems that there are churches every where and this is no exception. Lovely little church overlooking the basin. Worth a visit when passing.

A short drive off the road, this beautiful old church stands among some old trees.
Apparently one of the oldest churches in New Zealand, it is great to go in and just sit and ponder for a few moments. Of special interest are some of the gravestone inscriptions in the gateway, of soldiers who died in the Maori wars. Well worth a visit, together with the mission home next door.

St James is so centrally located that simply couldn't miss it when visiting Keikeri. It is certainly not a good target alone for a long drive but once in the area a nice peaceful place to visit.

Very pleasant area to visit. This lovely old church has a lot of history. The view of the Kerikeri Basin is good also, looking down to the Stone Store & House.

I can never get enough of quaint churches and cemeteries. I find walking through the graveyard interesting as i look at names and ages engraved on the headstones. Albeit the bulk of the headstones here are for the clergy, i still like meandering through the yards. It is right in town and easily accessible.
