Great place to stay. Very special places - we stayed a couple of days in the boat house, which is a house on top of the river with a great view on the river from the main bed. The location is directly in the nature with ducks visiting in the morning when you do the breakfast outside. Great host that can also give lots of recommendations on what to do in the area. Clear recommendation

We thoroughly enjoyed a recent stay here in our caravan. The subtropical garden setting was very unique and enjoyable to stay in.
The deck overlooking the stream is a lovely spot for meals, a drink or relaxation.
There are several walks from the campground including to the nearby stone store.
The owners are very friendly, helpful and can offer great local tourist advice.
Come with insect repellent. The only downside for me was the mosquitoes

Camping in a cultured wild garden above a river facing a djungel like forest with birdies. A place to find quietness & kindness. Different to anything we've seen so far, incredibly good. Very helpful owners.

Bliss! Absolutely fell in love with the magic of Pagoda Lodge. We had a powered camp site for our van for three nights. The beautiful gardens and surrounds just ooze tranquility and calmness and this was such a blessing on the start of our holiday. Excellent kitchen bathroom and laundry facilities. The deck next to the river perfect for eating and relaxing and the double bed on the deck a favourite. Definitely the place to stay if you are looking for something special away from the big caravan parks . Lovely walks nearby and close to the coastal tourist spots.Stephan and Kathy (a wonderful and inspirational gardener) the hosts are so welcoming friendly and helpful and great for touring advice also. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here recently for a weekend in one of the cottages by the river. Really off the beaten track spot which is great for starting a walk to the stone house and waterfalls with a cool river to canoe in (which you can get onsite) The owners are amazingly friendly and welcoming with so much info on the area and advise on what to do or eat . The cottage was really cute and quaint , really clean and tidy . the shower was always hot in fact i couldnt figure out how to cool it down :P and there was a lovely outside area to sit in . There is no wifi in the areas outside the main communal area m and the camping i was glad i didnt go for as it wasnt really glamping but usual camping which is good to know . and listen when they say watch out for food left anywhere as the ants are something else if not :P overall we had a nice stay but it does need a few updates here and there but lovely friendly staff
