Easy walk to a beautiful location. Well maintained pathway that is relatively flat. It is a lovely walk along the river that ends in a fairly big and impressive waterfall! You will probably see a rainbow.
The falls did not disappoint, there was plenty of water coming down. The walk to the viewing area is very short.
Couple of weeks ago we went to rainbow 🌈 fall it was awesome but then I got a bit disappointed 😔 when they didn't let's go by the fall but other then that it was awesome
You can see small rainbows near the falls pool if you are lucky on a sunny day, it's a short walk from car park and it's nice falls to view
If you are searching New Zealand for Rivendale then the Kerikeri river walk to Rainbow Falls is the walk for you. 4.3 km each way I strongly suggest starting near the Stone Store as the first part of the hike is the most dramatic and enchanting. Towering tree ferns, majestic podocarps, and outstanding views of the river and falls reward those who walk this easy and well groomed track. HIGHLY recommended.
