Good clean and airy apartment with all amenities near to shop's and restaurants.next to a maccys but not too much disturbance from the night customers the town is fairly busy during the day but be aware after around 9pm the town is like a morgue
I was there on work for a couple of day. The room & bathroom were spotless. Spacious room (one bedroom apartment). Sky Sports channels, tea/coffee/biscuits. Rooms were made everyday. Kitchenette will all the cutlery. Laundry service free of charge. Most importantly, 2 mins walk to any restaurant of your choice. Great location. Would definitely stay here again when in Kerikeri.
Surprisingly quiet considering it is right off the high street. Kerikeri is a peaceful rural town. The rooms are a good size with nice dining area, the kitchenette contains everything you could think of. Very nice bathrooms. The rooms are serviced daily. All very clean and comfortable. The managers are very helpful and polite. There are restaurants nearby and a supermaket about 50 metres away. All very easy. I would stay again and recommend to others too. The Stone Store is about 30 minutes walk away, then on to river and forest trails, and waterfalls.
I have been a regular guest here for the past 4 years. I stay every second Monday as part of my job it definitely makes my job easier to know that I have somewhere comfortable and friendly to look forward to after a long busy day. The staff here are awesome, it's close to everything and I could want for anything better.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. We were warmly welcomed and had 2 glasses of wine and treats awaiting us in our cabin/room. Linens are nice, comfortable bed and everything provided that you might need. Our fridge didn’t seem to be working when we arrived but the owner came over directly and got it going. The owners were keen to see that we were happy with our accommodation.
The gardens are lovely. Our cabin felt tucked away and private. It was quiet and serene but also close to restaurants and interesting sites. Screens on the windows, which we have rarely seen in NZ, kept critters out at night. AC or heat if needed besides bed warmers.
We highly recommend the Colonial Motel and will stay again next time we are in the area.
