Getting away from the busy city life for a weekend at The White Swan was amazing. We had the Madison Suite which was spacious and tastefully decorated. The service provided by staff was excellent. Highly recommended.

Had a voucher for a night and dinner at the White Swan which was about to expire so booked in for a Wednesday night and stayed in one of the Park Studio's which was warm comfortable and nicely fitted out, would have liked to sit out on the balcony but weather did not allow this. It was a busy night in the bar and restaurant but staff were very friendly and welcoming. They suggested a good time to eat as they had several large groups, which worked well for us. Was a little disappointed with the meals we received, was expecting better. During the week breakfast is served in room but we took the option of a walk around Greytown and breakfast at one of the cafes which was excellent. It is a great location and may well try it again and check out the food again.

Husband and I had a "package" staying one weekday night in the White Suite on the quiet side of this lovely renovated old building. We are locals, and staying here with a three-course dinner, welcoming champagne and chocolates in our enormous suite, with full well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable bed, we had a great break from real life. The three-course dinner was of international standard. Wine list small but big enough. The sophisticated and unobtrusive service by Hayden the maitre d', the bubbly warm welcome by Chelsea on arrival, assuring we were happy with our suite and its temperature, made us feel very special. The midweek-style of breakfast of eggs benedict and more, brought on trays to our room, was delicious. And the vigorous wood fire in the library area of the bar area made it very cosy on a rainy night.

Room tip: Rooms on the east side without balcony have no street noise.

Beautiful room, great food, a perfect indulgence when winter gets too cold or the city too busy.
Lovely to be in such spacious, attractive surroundings.

The food is really good and a small thoughtful wine list.

Staff are lovely and one feels very special.

Room tip: Rooms away from the road are quieter, each is distinctive with amazing decor.

Made a dinner reservation in the bar area for 1930 and food was eventually served at 2045
Advised of approx 45 min delay after ordering our meals
Have been here previously and had delays but this was excessive.
When meals arrived one was incorrect(credit was given for the meal) and we asked to speak to the manager who never fronted up.Waitress full of excuses which did not go down well.
    Disappointed with evening

We purchased a deal to do an overnight in a studio apartment and a three course dinner each.. Seen these deals before, but how good can a place in Greytown be ? Well, now we know. I've since emailed them asking how we can thank them enough for the experience. Every interaction we had with their team was friendly and professional, the accommodation was excellent and the food as good as we've eaten. We're already in discussion with another couple to show them how great this experience can be.

Room tip: In a building just behind the main hotel are the upstairs studio units and the downstairs family ones. We found the Studio unit very well appointed and comfortable, and a bonus being a small balcony overlooking a park. The main building has upstairs suites ..you'll need to go online to get info on these.
