Went to Cahoots on Sunday with my daughter and grandchildren.
Quaint mismatched everything but fabulous food and staff.
Greeted warmly and although busy not a long wait.

We stop in all the time for coffee with scones or one of their super yummy pies on our way to Saturday work and its the best way to start a hard days work. Highly recommend them!

We stopped for a late lunch on our way through Greytown, friendly atmosphere and fun staff. There was still a nice selection of food to choose from, and they gave generous servings. The food is fresh and innovative, and the cafe popular with locals.

Great home cookery here. Homemade pies, and the cakes looked amazing. The coffee was great, and super hot. Friendly team

We visited this cafe twice during our 4 days in Greytown.
1st visit: it was just 4 of us in the cafe, we got great customer service, amazing food and felt right at home. It was very cosy and warm inside.
The pies here are one of the best I have tasted in the north island of NZ.

Second visit: it was a busy day, we got shocking customer service, the lady didn’t even smile and mixed up our orders.
Meals came out up to 10 mins apart, all eggs were so undercooked half of us couldn’t eat them.
Food was so drenched in sauce it wasn’t great (and I love sauce).
I don’t think the staff work well under pressure. I had raved to friends about this place after the first visit but was disappointed by the second one :(
