We stopped for a late lunch on our way through Greytown, friendly atmosphere and fun staff. There was still a nice selection of food to choose from, and they gave generous servings. The food is fresh and innovative, and the cafe popular with locals.

Great home cookery here. Homemade pies, and the cakes looked amazing. The coffee was great, and super hot. Friendly team

We visited this cafe twice during our 4 days in Greytown.
1st visit: it was just 4 of us in the cafe, we got great customer service, amazing food and felt right at home. It was very cosy and warm inside.
The pies here are one of the best I have tasted in the north island of NZ.

Second visit: it was a busy day, we got shocking customer service, the lady didn’t even smile and mixed up our orders.
Meals came out up to 10 mins apart, all eggs were so undercooked half of us couldn’t eat them.
Food was so drenched in sauce it wasn’t great (and I love sauce).
I don’t think the staff work well under pressure. I had raved to friends about this place after the first visit but was disappointed by the second one :(

Dropped in for a morning coffee following a recommendation and have to say we were very disappointed. The greeting and initial service was fine. Didn’t have to wait too long for our coffee but when one of the staff members delivered our coffee not knowing what type it was (latte or flat white) and said she didn’t even like drinking coffee- you wonder what type of establishment this is. The very least you expect is that the Cafe knows what coffee it is giving to it customers. We had a friend from the UK with us so not a great advertisement for a fine coffee house in Greytown. Hard to believe that this can be a standard for a cafe anywhere!!!!! Disappointing to say the least.

Stopped here for Sunday Lunch. Good selection of food choices, and drinks too. The food was well prepared and tasty.
A little cramped in terms of space, and my chair had seen better days, but it was a decent dining experience.
