This is a great spot to eat in Martinborough village. The food is delicious and the staff really helpful. I would recommend booking ahead as it is quite small and gets busy - well worth a visit - as is clear by the fact we keep coming back! The duck and the chocolate dessert are both wonderful in every way!

It was a busy night but the service was attentive and just excellent. The entrees were interesting especially the prawns. The mains were great and the duck went down well. The wine list was extensive, strongly local and very good recommendations.
In all an excellent relaxed evening.

After a long journey we opted against the hotel “steak night” next door and followed up on the recommendation of the young girl in the tourist centre. It was the right decision.
The menu offered an excellent range of interesting dishes and the wine list included 200mls carafes of local wines , allowing us to match the wine to the food. The owner was happy to guide us in our choice and she was spot on.
A shared plate of crisp, succculent prawns, elegantly presented with small dots of sauces and freeze dried mandarin segments was delicious. My wife’s elegantly constructed vegetarian main course was excellent, as was my filet steak.
We finished our Pinot noir with sharing the generous cheese plate.
Service throughout was friendly and attentive, a great meal and highly recommended.

Service was very good, the wait staff were always abundant and smiling - very attentive. We only had breads and mains: bread was fair for the price, nothing special. The duck was very good and was recommended by staff. The chicken was tasty but overpriced for the dish.

What really astounded us was the hideous condition of the glassware - every piece covered in greasy, white water spots. Really ruins a nice glass of wine. Guys, learn to polish your glassware or check that your dishwasher is rinsing properly. The poor result is very off-putting!

The best meals we've all had in a long time. My starter of melt in the mouth beef cheeks couldn't have been better. 5 very happy diners. Not the cheapest but worth every cent.
