Location is great and is centrally located from anywhere you want to v is it. Views are spectacular. Spa was so peaceful with any amenity you need. Very clean as well.
Free breakfast is best meal we had all trip (seriously better than a Michelin star restaurant)
Most importantly, staff is amazing and does whatever it takes to make sure you have a great experience.
Stay at hotel Eden, you will be happy you did.

Great hotel and location. Some of the rooms really big (we booked 3; rooms are not identical). Amazing b-fast with great service. Covered pool and outdoor hot tub were great. Amazing view of lake and mountains.
Odd glass door restroom + shower (regular shower head) format in all rooms with little to no privacy. They should fix this.

I've been looking forward to reviewing this hotel because we enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel is charming and probably the best place to stay in Spiez. Very convenient location, a few minutes (walk) away from the train station (they do offer a shuttle service as well, if needed) and 5 minutes (again walk) by the castle and lake. The rooms are absolutely spotless and super comfortable (amazing mattresses and pillows). We had a room with lake view and every morning and evening I loved going on the balcony to enjoy the fresh air, the mountain peaks and the sky (especially at night). We enjoyed the breakfast as well, not a lot of diversity, but very good quality. The spa is really amazing; I loved the heated outdoor swimming pool -- an absolute treat with views towards their beautiful garden and the lake. The staff has been very helpful and kind. Many thanks to Gerome (front desk) for all the useful recommendations during our stay. I can only say that we miss the hotel (and beautiful Spiez) already and look forward to returning soon!

From the moment we walked into the beautiful Hotel Eden Spiez to the moment we left, everything was quite literally perfection. The hotel itself is pristine; you can tell that their attention to detail is unmatched. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and had a spectacular view of Lake Thun. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything (and beyond) of what you could need for your stay. What made this stay better than most was the absolutely wonderful staff who always went above and beyond. They truly make you feel as though you are the only guests in the hotel. I left my phone in a taxi and they went out of their way to retrieve it for me. On our last day, we missed our train from Oeschinensee by one minute, and the masseuse waited an extra hour for our return so we could have our massages on our last night. They were always so helpful and knowledgeable and just the SWEETEST. Forgive me because I'm horrible with names, but the maître d', the gentleman at the front desk and the bartender at Bistro - you were the best and you made our stay. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, as were the drinks at the Bistro Bar. I will be doing a separate review of Belle Epoque, because.. wow. Phenomenal. The spa was immaculate and vast, and has everything you could want for a successful spa day or evening. Do NOT think twice about booking, this hotel is worth every penny and is deserving of all its five star reviews. We will absolutely stay on our return to Switzerland. Thank you, Eden Spiez!

They promised breakfast included, a/c, SPA included.
When we showed up, they wanted CHF39 for breakfast per person per day, CHF45 for any use of any part of their SPA, no a/c in my room.
Late September, still hot. Couldn’t sleep. Very hot in the room. Sweating. Open windows - no help. It only cools down at around 04:00-06:00 in the morning. With open windows, all the noise from outside adds to frustration. On weekends, people are loud all night until 03:00-04:00 in the morning. - there is a restaurant across my windows. Restaurant guests are loud laughing, screaming, banging doors, car engines revving up.
Also hotel double charged a city tax.
There were some more minor issues.
