“Sun trap apartment”

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks over the Easter period. It was clean and comfortable. The weather whilst we were there was quite windy but the apartment was completely sheltered from the wind and was a sun trap all day long. Tamara who manages the apartment was a delight to meet and was always accessible should there be a problem, luckily we had none. The proximity to the supermarket was excellent and should you not have a car this would be very important. The walking distance to the main town was approximately 30 minutes. The cost of a taxi back from the town to the apartment was 5 Euros which included the tip, Altogether a very enjoyable holiday

“Great Place to Stay”
Reviewed 9 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed at this apartment for six weeks during January and February and were not disappointed. Things that would normally not matter to us were more important because of the length of time we were there – very comfortable settee, great TV system with all the UK channels and catchup TV, good Wifi, well equipped kitchen, your own washing machine, very large private patio area. Tamara who looks after the apartment was very friendly and helpful. Mercadona supermarket is right across the road (closed on Sundays) and there is a bar and very good pizza restaurant right outside. It is a bit of a hike into the main town, it took us 30 mins but we're not fast walkers. If you like cycling I recommend hiring bikes as Corralejo is really cycle (and pedestrian) friendly. If you are into swimming there is an Olympic size pool just 10 minutes walk from the apartment (behind Mercadona), but be warned it is unheated! It is a residential area so you do get typical residential noises such as dogs barking but we didn't find this too troublesome. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Corralejo.

“Grubby and Extremely Noisy”
Reviewed 8 February 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Despite reviews to the contrary, this apartment is grubby with old and faded bedding. It is not conducive to a peaceful and relaxing holiday as dogs bark incessantly, especially the poor creature confined to the balcony directly overhead competing with the awful wooden wind chimes everywhere. It is well equipped, but I felt I had to wash everything first, including the bedding. The entrance lobby is reminiscent of a slum with bikes, pushchairs, bottles, and flaking paint. I suppose one's perception of 'spotless' is open for debate, so It's up to you.

Management Response
7 Mar 2016
Unfortunately we can not please everyone and people with expectations of a five star hotel are bound to have a negative opinion from the start, however we find it very very hard to believe the apartment was not cleaned to a high standard and had this problem been pointed out at the time we could have put this right! Please note this is a self catering apartment and a maid service is not included like you would get in a hotel and therefore unfortunately you do have to clean up after yourself!!
The bedding is neutral/beige coloured and whilst this may not be to everyone's taste it fits in with the plain walls and tiled flooring.
The neighbours with wind chimes obviously find the noise relaxing and again this may not be to everyone's taste but this is something that we are unable to do anything about!

“Cant wait to stay again!”

Absolutely loved our stay here so much that we have booked again for July 2016!
The apartment has all the home from home essentials that you need for a truly relaxing break.
The apartment itself is extremely clean and very comfortable - could not fault it one bit
Huge supermarket across the road makes things so easy and on the edge of the complex is a small bar and also a pizza restaurant, a further pizza restaurant is also 2 min walk away - both serve fantastic food.
The walk down to the main town takes about 20mins depending on how many bar stops you make on the way! A taxi back is a max €4.
The only fault we could find was the paintwork on one of the garden walls needs looking at as the salt used in the brickwork has caused the paint to flake and blister - this however doesn't affect the apartment or the garden in any way

“Lovely place”

A friend and I stayed in Topkapi Palace from 7th-14th November and we both loved it. The apartment has all the home comforts you need for a relaxing stay. The pool area is just perfect for relaxing and reading a book, it's quiet too.

I cannot fault this apartment at all, it had everything we needed. The supermarket across the road is so handy, and the bar and pizza place is perfectly located within yards of your front door.

Will I return, absolutely.

A big thank you to Tamara and Peter from next door, a lovely couple who will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Scamper the dog is lovely too :-)
