Although the hotel was categorized 4 stars but it was average in terms of room size (very small) & Equipment (small closets & No Coffee Kittle) , general view and swimming pools (very small).
But staff were amazing especially Sandra, Martha, Nacho & Gustavo , they made our stay amazing with their outstanding smile and willing to help and give good service .
Also the food in the hotel is very delicious and has a wide verity suites all tastes.
HM Alma beach offers a luxurious stay at an affordable price. It has a prime location, friendly staff, wonderful service, and most importantly... good air conditioning!
My only complaint is their lack of vegetarian food options at dinner. On a couple of days there was a decent selection, but on others there was hardly anything, and nothing was labelled with the ubiquitous "V" for clarity.
Stayed for a week in July 2021 and really enjoyed our break at the Alma Beach, immaculate and modern..even smells beautiful 😏
We never used the pools and sundecks but they looked great too.
The staff were super too, very polite and were always keen to help with a smile, you almost could forget you were in a hotel it was so relaxed, the food and drinks were faultless and good value.
I only have one very minor issue...the bathroom/toilet door in the rooms... it's a sliding door with an inch gap to the bedroom..why not a fully closing door for a bit of discretion eh..😆..fix that and it's 5 big shiny stars all day long.
Recommend Flip Flop bar for G&T's..Palma Beach Pizza bar for cocktails and great service.
Definitely recommend this hotel but please sort the privacy issue with the toilet door!!!?
Nice hotel in an excellent location near the beach (2/3 min walk away) and nearby bars/restaurants. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. As others have said, the rooms are small (I was a single occupant of a double room and still found it a squeeze!) although the showers are big! Cleaners also did an excellent job, with rooms cleaned each day and the hotel overall is really clean. As others have also said, I don’t really agree with charging €3 a day for using the safe in the room. Good breakfast but the dinners (especially the mains) could be better. Nice pool on the roof but worth getting up early to put your towels down as there aren’t loads of beds up there. Nice, quieter, sun terrace on the fifth floor which is an excellent spot in the morning. COVID signposting was clear and was well followed by staff and by guests. Nice atmosphere as well - there’s a good buzz to the place. 5 minute walk away from the bus stop which has an express route into Palma. Also shops nearby. Overall, very good hotel for a short stay. Would use again.
Wonderful modern hotel, close to Palma airport. Spotlessly clean with excellent, attentive and friendly staff, We spent a week in this hotel in a double room with balcony. Rooms aren't overly big, but they have really comfortable beds and everything you need, they also have a decent sized balcony. The hotel is really close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Only quibble, and it is minor, is the position of sockets, making it difficult for hair styling/make up, as too far away from usable mirrors. On our last night, the hotel sent a bottle of cava to the room to thank us for staying with them, this was a lovely thoughtful touch and a really nice way to end the holiday.
