The Hotel was very good value for money. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, the beds and bed linen were comfortable and very fresh, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. All in all I would recommend this Hotel for anyone who wants a cheap stop over for a couple of days in Palma. Taxi Rank nearby and easy to get to main Shopping Centres in Palma. We had a very comfortable stay for a very reasonable price. We will come back again.

Just got back from a short 'chill' break at Hotel Ballear, Can Pastilla (October 2019)
Travelled with Ryanair - no problems - Stayed at Hotel Ballear - very friendly hotel and staff.

Just to answer a few questions others have asked in the past - On arrival at Palma Airport about 10.00pm decided I just wanted to book into hotel and have a drink in the room and an early night and concerned Supermarkets may be closed asked if I could purchase a 'bottle' in one of the Airport shops - no problem quite happy to sell me a bottle but not cigarettes

Walked out of Palma Airport via Gate 4 and after about 60 / 70 yds was stood in front
of bus stops - No1 bus direct to Palma and No 21 bus to Arenal via Can Pastilla. Jumped on No 21 and paid 5 Euros - 5 to 10 minutes later I was getting off the bus right outside my hotel

Very quick and friendly book in at the hotel and then there I was sat on the balcony of my room (room 111) with my glass in my hand overlooking the main square and the Church. Noted many have stated how noisy it was here and they are correct because I was looking at about 15/20 kids both youngsters and teenagers playing football, riding their scooters and running around making all the noises kids do when they are enjoying themselves - I t was great and not a' hoodied' teenage lout in site
Along with this were their parents / grandparents all chatting and laughing with each other at a small bar in the square - Boy was I feeling relaxed and by 11.15 all the kids along with most of the adults had disappeared and I was able to climb into bed and have a very peaceful nights sleep

We arrived at almost midnight after a late flight and had a lovely night's stay. We had booked two rooms and we were amazed at how big they both were. All four of us (family group) could easily have stayed in just the one room, but it was great we had so much space.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was included and the buffet choices were brilliant - everything you could think of and some you wouldn't expect!

The staff were very friendly - the receptionist on duty helped us with information about Palma and gave us a map to use which was very helpful. Our luggage was stored while we visited the city and a taxi sorted out for us when we returned.

Taxi from the airport was about 18 euros (a very quick journey) and into Palma was about 15 euros although a bus stops nearby.

We would definitely return and would be tempted to stay a bit longer. I'm not sure if the bar next door is owned by the same people but we had a late drink when we arrived and it was one of the best nights of our holiday! Very good value drinks and tapas provided free of charge!
