Impressed! 👍

Review of Alua Leo

Having been to Can Pastilla many times , this hotel was booked pretty much at the last minute.
We were impressed!
We were warmly greeted by the hotel's receptionist.
The hotel had a lovely clean look about it.
The room was spotless and had everything you would expect.
Breakfast was very good and we felt it had a great variety of food available.
The hotel is a stone's throw away from the beach .
Happy to recommend the hotel.
Well done to all the team at Roc Leo! 👍👍

Our stay at Hotel Roc Leo was excellent. We loved it.

The room was wonderful, the food delicious and the staff always very helpful.

We would recommend this excellent hotel to anyone.

It is a superb place to stay to relax and enjoy Mallorca.

Hiring a car was quick, easy and cheap and he car delivered within 10 minutes to the hotel from the office nearby.

Frequent bus services will take you into Palma with a bus stop less than a minute's walk away.

The food at the hotel is superb with a huge range of tasty choices.

The room was gorgeous. We had one directly looking onto the pool and the Mediterranean beyond.

You will find it hard to fault this hotel in any way.

Room tip: Rooms facing the pool and sea are best (these are at the back of the hotel).

I was there for 2 nights for a very short business trip. The hotel was close to the airport, the beach, and my business concerns. It was off-season, so there were no crowds, but there was little to do. The hotel restaurant is open 3 times each day, offering buffet options over 4-5 stations. I found the wait service a bit slow and the great variety of food choices seemed a bit bland to my American taste. We enjoy our salt and sugar too much, I guess. The room was immaculate but a bit smaller than I imagined. I had a room with a patio, but I regret not choosing a room with a balcony instead. It would have made for a nice ocean view. Check-in and out went smoothly. I used a room to secure my bags after check-out so I could play tourist for awhile. This was a very welcome feature. Overall, a pleasant stay. No complaints. Easy access to shopping and the beach.

Room tip: For better ocean views, choose a room with a balcony. There are buildings obstructing the view fro the hotel.

When checking in there was no mention of the water having to be cut off due to maintainence works outside the hotel. In the evening we told reception but was told that the works had disrupted the water system in the hotel. Still on the following morning only cold water available for showering. When we spoke to reception the following morning with the water still coming out cold "Natalie" said the same spiel. This time we asked what are they doing about compensating the guests and pointed out had they told us that there was no hot water we would have found another hotel, as not all hotels were having this trouble. Natalie said she would do something. Only when checking out after having two nights of inconsistent hot water did Natalie offer a discount an our next stay. Two rooms twice the pain. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Room tip: Please check they have all the facilities they say they have before you pay!

we booked for one night stay. this hotel gives 5 star service for 4 star prices. really quick checkin from pleasant reception staff. Our room on 5 floor was overlooking a lovely pool and sea view. room itself was outstanding . all ammenities in room including dressing gown and slippers. coffee machine etc could not fault room and we have stayed in many of the hotels in can pastilla. one of the best. The restuarant was excellent, buffet style with all the salads, cooked meats by chef on griddle and plenty of choice on sweet counter with fresh fruits. Would recommend this hotel as excellent value for money. Will visit again.

Room tip: higher rooms better view.

My first flight abroad since having a stroke and being certified as blind (I do have minimal sight). I arrived extremely early at reception but as they were not busy the room was already ready. Very modern room, clean and fresh and kept that way by the housekeeping. In the whole of the area that I used I only found one step which was leading to the pool area. There are a couple of steps at the back of the pool which are a shortcut to the beach. The clientele was mostly German. As I had lived in Germany this was not a problem, In fact I have made a couple of friends which I spent mealtimes with. The food was really good. The best I have had in a buffet type restaurant in the Spanish area. There was a special meal on Christmas Eve. Everything was from the best. I had delicious suckling pig and a superb seafood paella that night. I noticed that there were products for lactose intolerant and that there seem to be a good selection. I am sure that if you asked they would be able assist you with the choice of special diets. As described in other reviews, the bus stop is just a few steps up the road. The resort is very close to palma. The only slight problem was that someone said they would tell me when to get off on the way back but waited until the end of Arenal to tell me so I had a long walk back along the promenade. It is an easy place to walk and the beach is exceedingly clean. There have been storms just before I arrived so there was quite a bit of seaweed but on the other hand it was great to watch the surfers. The staff were all exceedingly helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and my return next Christmas. I think that the only thing stopping me from going back in summer is that the outside/pool area was a little plain and lacked a view. Although if you booked a room with a good view you could sit on the balcony and sip your gin and tonic.
If you visit at Christmas, the Christmas Mass at the cathedral in Parma is recommended as well as the illuminations.
