We stayed at the Amic Gala at the start and end of our trip, primarily due to its proximity to the airport and reasonable price.

Our first stay was more positive - we had booked a standard double room and actually got an apartment style set up with 2 x bedrooms and 2 x bathrooms. It was very clean and comfortable and just what we needed after a delayed flight in to Palma, arriving at 3am. The 24 hr reception was great on this basis too.

Our second stay was very disappointing. The room was much smaller with 2 x twin beds pushed together to make a double and smelled overwhelmingly of bleach. The smell was so strong that we requested to change rooms and the staff were very accommodating about this. We were upgraded to a much larger room with a king size bed, however there were lots of insects on the bathroom floor - not very inviting!

On balance it was fine for a layover - it's just a 5 minute bus ride to the airport - but we wouldn't stay here again.

I would like to say this hotel is pretty good. Rooms are clean , food is really great and the location is the best advantage. The hotel is few steps from the beach which is really comfortable.
Disadvantages were a little mould on the wall in the bathroom and small wardrobe but it wasnt a huge problem.

Stayed here with my Daughter for a week...fantastic location...lovely clean room and bathroom and very friendly and helpful staff...would definitely stay here again. The beach was down the street and across the road...plenty of shops bars and restaurants nearby and the bus stop was just across the road from the hotel
