The stay in these Apartments was a last minute booking and we got a great deal. It was booked through booking.com
On the day of out arrival we had a phone call to ask what time we expected to arrive and they said there would be someone to meet us, we said 2pm. We were met at the gate by a lovely young lady with a smile. The check on was really easy and we parked the car in the secure underground parking. The Apartment itself was outstanding, it was spotless, modern and big. We loved it, they even left us a bottle of bubbly and some snakes and fruit. We had our two dogs with us which stayed free of charge. I'm already looking to come back in 2016. Fantastic

We stayed here in September 2015. The apartment block is located in scrub land a few hundred metres from the end of the promenade in Quarteira. Also a short walk from the beach.

As other reviewers have pointed out the apartments are modern and well equipped. However this development is a troubled one with some of the apartments still unsold some 5 or or more years after development. There also appears to have been an ongoing dispute over the quality of the construction which is just now being addressed. A notice on the lifts when we were there indicated remedial works were starting on 7th September to be carried out under construction guarantee insurance. No indication of an end date was given for the works.

Some current infrastructure issues/problems:

> a lot of tiles in the swimming pool have come off leading to an unappealing series of brown streaks at the bottom of the pool. You could easily cut your foot by walking on the parts where the tiles have come away. Maybe the remedial works now starting will finally fix the swimming pool problems, which have been going on for years, literally.

> the pool area is very small relative to the number of apartments; there were only 14 sun beds when we were there and most are in a very poor state of repair.

> To access Circular block A (the 3 bed room apartments) and Block F you will have to climb one set of steep steps. There is no way to avoid this unless you want to enter and exit all times through the underground car park! So you will have to haul luggage, buggies, etc. up the stairs. If you have mobility or sight issues these blocks may not suit.

> lighting of public areas was erratic and often seemed to come on a few hours after darkness had fallen. One night as we headed out to eat at 8,30 or so, there was no public lighting on. We had to descend the steep steps mentioned above in almost total darkness, a potentially dangerous exercise. So bring a small torch with you. It surely is a design failure to have no ramp to access these blocks.

> there is some ongoing noisy construction work going up high up in Block A (the large 3 bed room apartments). We were awoken every morning circa 8.15 by heavy duty drilling and hammering. Enquiries suggest these works have been ongoing for many months now with no end in sight; so be warned if you are considering booking an apartment in Block A in the near future.

I would return next year but only if assured all construction and remedial works, including the works in Block A and the swimming pool, were completed. Also please turn on the lights at night when it gets dark, not about 2 hours later!

First time to Portugal and was a great choice. 2 bedroom Apartment was clean, spacious and everything you needed for the week. Staff was very friendly. Great location at the end of the main strip, very close to beach, supermarket and main strip with all the restaurants. Only slight disappointment was the missing tiles from the pool. Doesn't stop it being used and is a sun trap during the day.

My partner & I stayed at these apartments from 16th to 23rd June 2015 - the standard of these apartments is excellent - the furniture & fittings are also have a high standard and the cleanliness is also excellent - if you to want a self catering holiday this is the place to go in this area - if you stay for a week you do not have cleaning or change of towels/ bedding but you have 2 x sets and a washing machine plus all all washing detergents etc so no problem - you also have dishwasher and all other kitchen utensils - MINOR ISSUES - the pool is lovely but the mosaic tiles on the floor of the pool are becoming loose leaving patches of the floor just cement and could cut your feet - the sun beds are also in very poor condition and need replacing - both issues seem to be unresolveable because the individual owners cannot agree who will pay for the repairs/replacements - but don't let this put you off because the apartments, the area and especially the locals are lovely.

Room tip: Block A have wonderful views.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of this accommodation, there was room for 4 people in the 1 bedroom apt as the living area had a pull down bed. I will say though, the bed in the bedroom was very creaky so much so that if either of us got out of bed during the night the other would be wakened by the creaking effect, a new bed is a must! The apartment had 2 toilets one with a bath then other a shower unit and an air con unit in the bedroom and living area. The kitchen had Siemens washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, and dishwasher and there was lots of storage area throughout the apartment. The pool area is small but was never crowded, the sun beds and pool need to be upgraded especially the pool as tiles were missing and this could cause someone to get a nasty cut. The apartment was just 5 mins walk from the prom where there are plenty of good restaurants, bars and snack bars, it was located in a quiet area near the beach and there was an excellent barbecue brach restaurant right on the beach which provided us with excellent barbecued fish and we both thought this was the best fish we had during our visit. The supermarket was situated 5 mins from apartment, it was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The apartment was also very secure with cctv in use. We were initially a bit worried that the rooms didn't have a security safe, however once we were in the room we realised we didn't need it as the door was very secure with at least 5 bolts securing it. This was done by turning the key twice in the lock.

Room tip: You can ask for a room with the sun on the balcony either morning or afternoon, whatever you prefer. We chose the afternoon and although it was too warm for me to sit there I could dry my washing.
