We stayed here in July and choose this hotel for its location and price. Paying 90€ we were expecting at least hot water. Rooms were basic but during our stay we had no hot water, no Wi-Fi and hair dryer didn't work. After complaining at the reception6the receptionist seemed to be aware of the problems but did nothing to help us ! For the price I'm sure there are much better hotels with better value for money and hot water !!

This was one of the friendliest hotels we stayed in during our 10 day tour of Southern Italy. Only a 10 minute walk from the historic downtown with all of the trulli buildings, this hotel was clean and convenient. My room was decorated in blue tones and was a decent size. The front desk staff would make coffee anytime you asked. There was a slightly bossy person overseeing breakfast each morning, and he would only let you sit down during your allotted time. This hotel, however, did serve scrambled eggs and bacon, which was very nice.

Have recently stayed at the Astoria and was very disappointed! The A/C didn't work so all night long we just heard a fan whirlin gaway......they apparently fixed it by adjusting the fan so another day of swirling noises!! Breakfast was particularly poor considering Puglia has an excellent cuisine. This is not a 4* hotel more like a 3* so you have been warned!!!! This hotel caters for large groups of Japanese visitors who are relectant to complain about the poor breakfast on offer.

Room Tip: Alberobello is a lovely place and this hotel ruined our otherwise lovely visit.

We didn't stay here so this review is just about the helpful girls at reception who were so kind to us when we were lost. They located where we were meant to be staying, contacted them, gave us a map, drew out a route, told us how to get there, made sure we were aware of other important details like all the closed roads due to a town festival and pointed us on our way. Mille grazie!

The hotel reception area and dining room and our rooms were all very good.
A special mention also to the manager who assisted us in locating various shops and who suggested places of interest.
The only downside was the price - too much!
