We decided to take a boat to see the bits that can't be reached on foot, like the caves. Got down to the pier on Sunday and there were queues to get on the main one. It was organized chaos. Then we noticed a smaller boat just about to pull out and hailed it. It came back to pick us up and off we went! Certainly a more personal approach and the captain was very able. He single handedly manoeuvred the boat into the little caves so we could take better pictures. Then at Baia Infreschi, while the other companies were dropping off their passengers on this tiny little beach with hardly any room to move, our captain moored just a little way away, on a quiet bit of the cove and we could jump off and swim to a part of the shore which were not accessible to the other people. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with him, although he didn't speak any English and we had to make do with sign language and some translation from one of the other passengers. I would recommend taking a trip with them
