Hard to believe just how "on the beach" this apartment is. And, how close the market that has everything is. And the more-than-decent taverna next door. And the proximity to the waterfront, restaurants, shopping, etc in the port town. The place is as described, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom big enough to shower in comfortably. The kitchen is really tight--but if you don't plan on cooking anything, not a problem. Elisavet is helpful and welcoming. We were there in December and our only disappointment was that we could not use what appeared to be a working fireplace. It would have been nice to cozy up to. Great value for the money in any case.
We stayed in this 1 room studio right on the beach in Naxos. When you open the doors, the beach is right there. There is a grocery store across the street and the town and restaurants and 2 minute walk. The woman who runs the house was great. She had a taxi meet us at the boat, then when we arrived at the house she met us with fresh coffee and freshly baked Greek cookies and other fabulous Greek foods. The place was decorated very nicely and the bed was comfortable. On our second day she came over at night and gave us freshly backed Greek spanakopita. We had it for dinner that night and did not need to go out to dinner. We used the well stocked kitchen to make breakfast each day we were there. We highly recommend this apartment!!!
