Old house with very nice, updated, rooms. Tight and narrow streets just by the old stone wall. We were lucky to get a spot just by the hotel. The lift from -65 were scarier than the house from the 16-17th century. We were lucky to get a great view as well.

This was a great hotel. Very hospitable and clean modern rooms. Very good breakfast that was included in our stay. This hotel has a pool that is open 24 hours. It is located in the great town with beautiful views.

We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights during some very warm weather. The swimming pool was a wonderful, refreshing experience. Didn't try the sauna. The extensive breakfast spread was very appreciated. Perfectly located in the heart of town.

This is not a hotel to measure through what offers as a hotel but to measure through what is like.
As hotel is clean with spacious rooms .The overall picture is a lovely looking hotel in a very nice village ,excellent breakfast, excellent restaurant, polite people speaking English fluently. It is situated in the middle of the village but fortunately not in front of the railway.
A very nice place like the hole village itself.

My friend had picked out this hotel outside of Frankfurt as a base for a tour of the Rhine river. It took us 3-4 hours to find the hotel using GPS. We had called the hotel twice for help, but they weren't able to help us. When we finally arrived, the kitchen was closed and only 1 restaurant was open.
The hotel staff were very nice and helpful getting us to our room. There isn't an elevator that we were aware of so we had to go up a few flight of stairs to our room. There was free parking available at the hotel, on the street. The room was a nice size, but we had asked for 2 twin beds. We had a king-size with the 2 mattresses. There was tv, phone, and a small refrigerator. The bath had a full-size tub with hand-held shower attachment. We had a nice view of the street below and partial view of the river. We could still hear the train at night, but it didn't really bother me.
Buffet breakfast was a little high, but very good. Wide assortment of breads, rolls, meats, sausages, cheese, jams and jellies, eggs, fresh fruit, nuts, yogurt, and etc.
The coffee was good, not from the common nespresso-type machine.
The staff spoke some english and was helpful.
I would have liked to have taken advantage of the pool and sauna, but never found the time.
Hotel Bacharacher Hof is a good base for exploring the Rhiine. The ticket office and dock are right across the hotel. The city is very picturesque and walkable. There isn't much happening after 9PM, though.

Room Tip: Upper floors have view of the river. Back of the hotel may have quieter rooms.
