Brought two young kids here for a two day break.... staying in the resorts hotel complex overnight.
From the offset I was very impressed ... clean , well organized and the park had a great layout .
The App we had for queue times and open rides was very accurate which helped us decide What to do ....
Theme parks means queuing!!! If you don’t like queuing ... don’t go to a theme parks !
All the rides we did ( in 27 degree sunshine) had adequate shade put out for us....
All staff at rides were polite, bright and seemed to ... sort of .... enjoy what they were doing.
All facilities were absolutely spot on ..... all toilets ( and there are plenty) were well stocked clean and didn’t smell !!! We arrived at 10.30am and last toilet stop was 18.45pm, all still good.
Stalls in park were plentiful... good selection of drinks and food. Restaurants were also everywhere in park providing a wide selection of food and drink ....
Overall very impressed... we’ve done a few parks with the kids .... Alton , Phantasia, Eurodisney, etc etc ... this one was the best !!!!!
Well done LegoLand !
P.s. our hotel on site is also great!!! Lovely little apartment, 2 bedrooms, great shower , clean and well Maintained .
Just eaten out in the site steakhouse... superb food and service ....
10/10.
Now for the negative... if it’s even a negative... we are always amazed at the amount of adults at these parks without kids between 18-30!!!! It’s LegoLand for gods sake !!!!!! It’s for kids !!!!!! It’s Disneyland !!!! For kids !!!!
Below average amusement park, characterised by very long queues for every attraction. Simply too many tickets sold for the size of the park.
Attractions are not at all worth the waiting time (apart from a very few of them).
Overall not worth the day and travel.
Dear Piso1972,
Thank you for your visit to LEGOLAND Germany.
Unfortunately, waiting times can not be completely avoided during the holiday season. However, we are very anxious
to keep them as low as possible. In addition to the rides, our park offers many other exciting adventures to discover.
We're sorry, that we have not been able to offer you a perfect park stay.
Best Regards
Head of customer service, LEGOLAND Deutschland Freizeitpark GmbH
This is a fun little theme park. Situated a reasonable drive from Munich. Best suited to children aged around 7-10. Look into the accommodation prices as this may work out cheaper for you than just a day ticket.
We spent only an afternoon there but it's worth a whole day.
My 10 years old son was very pleased with his adventures there and with his new Lego acquisitions.
There are a lot of places with food and drinks and a variety of fun things to do.
Awesome family holiday for me and my son (8)
His first holiday and what a holiday.... we dont speak german and staff were fantastic.
Second time at Legoland, now in Germany (first in DK) and the experience here was as good as the first! We were lucky timing wise to hit it before the school holidays and on a week day so parking was fast and the overall experience was that the lines were shorter than expected/announced for the rides. Kids loved it of course. As a parent I also like that the food available is not only pizza and hot dogs, but there is actually also more healthy alternatives around! All in all we had good experience and recommend a visit.
